Sam Lutfi’s trial against the Spears libel, defamation, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract began this week, and so far it’s not looking good for the ex-manager. The judge threw out his case last week for emotional distress, according to

“Mike Aiken, the latest attorney to join the Spears’ team, analyzed six days of Sam’s deposition from November 2011. Aiken found no facts to support the emotional distress claim. The judge agreed with Aiken and dismissed Sam’s claim Oct. 4.”

Lutfi alleged Jamie Spears “punched him [Lutfi] in the chest,” and “threatened to kill Lutfi if he ever heard that Lutfi ever again made a rude comment about Lynne or any other member of his family.”

Lutfi says he suffered “internal injury to his nervous system” and “great mental, physical, and nervous pain and suffering.”

From the court docs filed back in 2009:

He also claimed the conduct of Jamie and Lynne, was “extreme and outrageous, beyond the reasonable bounds of decency, intentional and malicious and done for the purpose of causing Lutfi to suffer humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional and physical distress.”

Lutfi wants the $120,000 a month minimum acting as Britney’s manager.
