Things just went from bad to worse in Jessie J land.
Jessie J dropped a huge bombshell earlier this week when she cancelled the remainder of dates on her Australian tour and it seems like things are only going to get worse from here as per her latest interview with The Sun.
Read more about Jessie’s dilemma after the cut:
Doctors have given Jessie J the red flag and warned her that she needs to keep her live show performances to a minimum due to a heart condition known as Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome. Jessie can belt like the best of them, but this particular condition causes a fast and irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath and moments of dizziness.
I have prided myself in having got this far without having to [lip-sync], but if my career carries on moving at the pace that it is, I will have to lip-sync to be able to stay well. My songs are so big.
She also explained that the condition can be hard to keep under wraps and it’s affected her way more than people think. Jessie J can oversing a little too much for my taste, but I surely hope that she can find some medium with this condition that allows her to still offer up some live vocals. I mean, at the end of the day, what’s a Jessie J show without her big pipes?
Rest up, baby girl.
