Had a bad week? Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Let British songstress Jess Glynne remind you to chill out with her dance-tastic performance of “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself” at the BRIT’s Launch Show. It’s a must-see, because it’s possibly Madonna-inspired. She told reporters this week, “Madonna is a massive inspiration.”

Adele, Amy Winehouse, Lana Del Rey Lead The Brit Awards 2016 Nominations

The quote continues: “The fact that she fell down and stood straight back up and carried on. Not many people could do that.”

Let us explain. She’s referring to when Madonna was yanked off stage at the 2015 Brit Awards. Glynne, who’s nominated this year in the British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act and British Single With Capital categories and will perform at the show next month, says that’ll never happen to her because “I would never wear a cape anyway.”

She adds she’s really nervous, but we’d like to remind her not to be so… you get the jist. Check out her performance at the Launch Show and keep an eye out for her appearance at the official ceremony next month.
