It’s been years since JLo hit the road with a proper tour, but that’s about to change!

Following her three-year residency in Las Vegas, and to celebrate her 50th birthday in July, Lopez confirmed a US tour called the It’s My Party: The Live Celebration Tour. It kicks off June 7th in Phoenix and makes stops in Las Vegas, LA, Dallas, Orlando and NY before wrapping up in Miami.

“This summer I decided I wanted to do something big for my birthday, since it’s a big birthday,” Lopez said during an appearance on Ellen. “I’m going on a U.S. tour, it’s called It’s My Party… We’re only doing 25, 28 shows, something like that. It’s just a small amount of shows, but we’ll be out all through June and July.”

Leave it to Jennifer Lopez to celebrate her birthday by working!

JLo is a powerhouse performer, and her Vegas show generated millions of dollars. There is certainly a demand to see Jenny on the Block on stage, but can she translate that Sin City energy around the country? My money’s on yes. And what a great way to practice for the Super Bowl. Bookmark me.
