She also received the Telemundo Star Award.
Jennifer Lopez live-premiered a new ballad titled “Mírate” off her forthcoming Spanish language album at The Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday.
Leave it to JLo to steal the show. The pop star pulled double duty tonight: she accepted the Telemundo Star Award, which recognizes an artist’s achievement beyond their musical career, as well as performed a new song titled “Mírate.” It was written by three-time Latin Grammy Winner Kany Garcia, produced and arranged by Julio Reyes Copello and Motiff.
Before she took the stage, stars like Rihanna, Demi Lovato, Ricky Martin, Lin-Manuel Miranda and more submitted special video messages celebrating her impact in the industry.

Here’s a clip of Lopez accepting the accolade. “I am humbled to be here in your presence and to accept this award,” she said. “I love you guys so much.”
