Jay Z Addresses Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ In Freestyle Rap On “All The Way Up” Remix

May 25, 2016 By Jordan Miller

Jay raps “Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is.”

Rumor had it Jay Z was crafting a response album to Beyonce’s Lemonade, and his freestyle rap on Fat Joe’s “All The Way Up” remix could be just the start.

Jay is finally addressing the infidelity ish Beyonce furiously unleashed on us last month in a remix that also features Remy MA, French Montana and InfaRed.

He raps:

“You know you made it when the fact/Your marriage made it is worth millions/Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is.”

Hov also references the late Prince, who left his catalogue exclusively to Tidal. He says The Purple Rain singer’s tunes are safe there: “Prince left his masters where they safe and sound/We never gonna let the elevator take him down.”

Unless he’s referencing that infamous moment with Solange (of course sometimes **** goes down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator).

Previous reports suggest Jay and Beyonce are releasing a joint-album “very soon.”
