Jason Trawick No Longer Britney’s Agent

May 24, 2011 By Jordan Miller

News surfaced several days ago that Jason Trawick is no longer apart of Britney’s professional life, but I had bigger chickens to fry.

Famos LLC, a partnership with musician and media impresario, Dave Stewart and legendary Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, asked Trawick to oversee the company’s arts and entertainment brand.

“F*star is a white-label of the famos* media syndication platform, specifically tailored to address the unique needs of individuals and entities with broad digital reach and influence. In his new capacity, Mr. Trawick will continue to work closely with his former employer as the new online service, currently under wraps at http://www.famos.com, readies for a planned summer debut.”

Trawick, who’s worked for the William Morris Endeavor Agency for years, has represented stars such as Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff, Pauley D (Jersey Shore), Paris Hilton, Heidi Klum and Britney herself.

Rent Sidon, Famos LLC founder and CEO, “We’re delighted to have Jason on board with us at famos*. He clearly grasps the distinction between digital fame and real-world celebrity, and he’s got the experience, credibility and instincts to effectively bridge the two.”

Mr. Trawick says, “As agents, we’re constantly getting pitched deals with some new technology that’s going to revolutionize this or monetize that, when basically they’re all just reading off the same script. Famos* is a different animal — a disruptive technology that respects the artist and values the fan, which is basically everything my clients ever wanted.”

Adds Trawick, “It’s a very exciting opportunity for me professionally, and I’m humbled to be a part of such a visionary partnership.”
