Jake Miller’s new music video for “Wait For You” is a guilty pleasure.

The blossoming pop star has continually released a string of bops in recent years, and his latest is no exception. “Wait For You” has already amassed more than a million streams on Spotify, and the new visual will likely give the track a healthy bump.

The song taps into the go-to electro dance music production gymnastics – there’s a warbly background vocal and pounding beat – but injected with a bit of a late ’90s vibe.

The video has some pretty fantastic things to look at, too. Jake gets morphed into a nightmarish tech glitch, chills with a snake and sits next to a trash can on fire. It doesn’t make a lot of sense, but it’s not supposed to. I prefer things this way.

Side note: male pop stars are highly under appreciated in 2019 and it’s my mission to change that.
