Jake Miller is haunted by a former flame on his new song, “NIKES.”
This bops. “NIKES” is the latest release from Jake (justice for male pop stars in 2019). The sugary chorus is quite bittersweet – on it, the 26-year-old laments about a past relationship that haunts him. His ex’s Nike shoes are collateral damage, a physical reminder that somewhere along the way s–t hit the fan.
If you’ve been following Jake for a minute, “NIKES” might sound familiar. He’s been performing the self-written track since last year, but the studio version, flawlessly produced by Ryan Ogren, is an entirely different animal.
