What does it all mean?

Could Selena Gomez’s new era be just around the corner?

Only a couple of days after a new song titled “It Ain’t Me” was registered on music publishing website ASCAP, the Revival singer shared a preview of it, and now some new artwork to fawn over. Gomez changed her profile photo on Instagram to a mysterious, low-lit cropped closeup, and it took an entire entourage to create. Selena’s stylist, Chris Classen, posted the photo and tagged several other stylists, her makeup artist and music video director Alek Keshishian (“Hands To Myself”). Could the snap be a still from the “It Ain’t Me” music video?

According to the ASCAP registry, DJ Kygo (“Carry Me”) produced the song, and was written by Brian Lee, Ali Tamposi & Andrew Watt, the superstar trio who crafted Justin Bieber and DJ Snake’s chart bubbler, “Let Me Love You.” Gomez has also recently linked up with The Futuristics and pop’s not-so-secret weapons Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels (“Good For You”). Most recently, producer Jax Jones shared a clip of a song he collaborated with Selena on titled “This Is Real.”
