The new rumored song is described as “****,” “breathy,” “urban” and “very Britney.”
Britney Spears’ next single will keep you up all night.
Britney just relaunched her reimagined Piece Of Me show in Las Vegas, but it hasn’t stopped us from dreaming about her new album. Manager Larry Rudolph said in a recent interview she’s expanding her sound on the forthcoming record, which he says is 80% done. “It’s different. The last few albums have been pretty straightforward pop,” Rudolph said last week. “This is different. This is almost like a Britney meets The Weeknd.”
Britney’s not-so-secretly recorded new tunes over the last year or so with DJ Mustard, Esjay Jones, Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels, the latter two are responsible for Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and Selena Gomez’s “Good For You.” The latest rumor regarding Britney’s new song is apparently Michaels’ creation. The rumor we mentioned claims the song is titled “Slumber Party,” has Weeknd vibes and is described as “****,” “breathy,” “urban” and “very Britney.”
There’s also rumors she has a song titled “Just Luv Me” on the upcoming album, which sees production from Cashmere Cat (Kanye West, Ariana Grande), RoboPop (Maroon 5, Gym Class Heroes, Lana Del Rey) and Michaels. Britney’s recently posted several photos on Instagram in-studio with Michaels.
Most of this is hearsay, but the album will drop sooner than later. “I have a new album coming out soon,” Britney told the press last week.
Rudolph added “people are going to absolutely love it. She sounds amazing on it – she has not sounded better since… I don’t know when. She’s done a lot of writing on the album also.”
Britney’s coming to serve the next big nightlife hit!
