The worldwide web is labeling Justin Timberlake a hypocrite for showing support for the ‘Time’s Up’ initiative.

The worldwide web is labeling Justin Timberlake a hypocrite for showing support for the ‘Time’s Up’ initiative.

JT accompanied his wife Jessica Biel to the Golden Globes on Sunday (Jan. 7).

Ahead of the event, Timberlake promoted the hashtag #TimesUp on social media – the movement is a coalition of more than 300 women in the entertainment industry who have joined forces to end gender discrimination – and that didn’t bode well for the singer.

Why? JT stars in Wonder Wheel, a film directed by alleged sexual abuser Woody Allen, who has been accused of sexual abuse by his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow.

“Here we come!!,” Timberlake wrote. “And DAMN, my wife is hot! #TIMESUP #whywewearblack”

Twitter users quickly went in. They pointed out some harsh truths:

“You starred in Woody Allen’s new movie,” one wrote. “You built a career on malicious misogyny towards Britney Spears. You left Janet Jackson out to dry. This is pure performative fraud.”
