Azalea says she’ll release “content, buzz songs, viral videos and other cool stuff” in January.

UPDATE: Azalea Tweeted a short clip of the song on Monday (Dec. 28):

The original story below was published on Dec. 27 at 2:30 p.m. PST:

Iggy Azalea’s lead Digital Distortion single is a song titled “Team.”

Earlier this month, Azalea hinted her new music was right around the corner. After fending off attacks from Erykah Badu, Azalea shared a snippet of an unreleased song and says the record is finished (aside from recording the features) but admitted: “I don’t really know what im doing with my music release.”

It appears now she does. On Sunday (Dec. 26), Azalea revealed her upcoming single is named “Team,” has a pop influence and described it as “20% meaningful 70% bop 10% ratchet.”

Any music she drops in January is for promotional purposes only (“content, buzz songs, viral videos and other cool stuff”) and won’t be available via iTunes, however fans will be able to stream it via YouTube or SoundCloud. She’s not really sure.
