Iggy Azalea – “Savior”

Listen to a new taste of ‘Digital Distortion.’

Iggy Azalea is looking for a “Savior.”

Iggy recently revealed her forthcoming album Digital Distortion “has been finished for months,” but a tumultuous breakup with ex fiancé Nick Young and a so-so reaction to the record’s lead single, “Team,” persuaded the Australian rapper to hold off, but if you’re sick of waiting for new tunes from Iggs… you’re in luck. A tropical-tinged new song titled “Savior” surfaced, and it’s likely a cut from the new LP.

“If I’m Lois Lane… where my Superman?,” Iggy raps. “I need you faster than a bullet or a speeding train / And when you find your way to me then I won’t need a thing / And I can’t wait till we meet again.”

The song features an unidentified collaborator, which could indicate this particular take is a demo. Iggy revealed last month her new single will have a feature, “a girl singing with me,” she said before adding it drops in January. “I am really excited.”

The Internet is praying for Sia to jump on this, and I must agree; her vocals swarming Iggy’s laid-back verses would make something sensational.
