Nicki Minaj and BTS are about to break the Internet.

Nicki Minaj and BTS are about to break the Internet.

UPDATE // SEPTEMBER 6:

The Rap Queen inserted herself into a record breaking music video.

The original visual for K-pop group BTS’ “IDOL” broke Taylor Swift’s record for most-viewed video in 24 hours on YouTube. “IDOL” racked up 56 million views on its first day, ousting Tay Tay’s “Look What You Made Me Do.”

Can lightning strike twice?

BTS re-uploaded the same video, the first single off the album Love Yourself: Answer, this time including vibrant footage of Nicki Minaj in a neon green wig rapping her verse and taking selfies.

The clip is an eyegasm, so be sure to watch this while sitting down:

UPDATE // AUGUST 24:

BTS and Nicki Minaj have a new song together.

Rumors were true! Nicki has a verse on BTS’ new song “Idol.” It’s pretty lit to be honest. Chart topper here we come!

EARLIER // AUGUST 23:

The K-pop phenomenon’s new album, Love Yourself: Answer, drops Friday (August 24), and it could very well feature a song with the Queen of rap.

The group shared a teaser of their new music video for a song titled “IDOL.” Fans noticed if they ran the song through the Shazam app, it said Nicki Minaj was featured. V V interesting.

Nicki caught wind of the buzz on Twitter and began liking statuses that linked her to the surprise collaboration. Basically, this is happening.

Nicki Minaj is going to finally score a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100. Why is this especially important? Because the “Good Form” rapper has been on a tirade about her status in the industry and chart positions (read more about that here). I want this for her.
