Hilary Duff revealed the tracklist for her upcoming record “Breathe In. Breathe Out.”
While we impatiently wait for Duff’s upcoming record to drop on June 16, check out the tracklist and accompanying reflective artwork. If you’re feeling generous, there’s a $50 boxset available with a shirt and temporary tattoos, because what adult fan of Hilary’s wouldn’t sport those during a night out? We can’t help but notice she scrapped “Chasing The Sun” and “All About You,” but if that left room for more new material then thank you!
Could not be more excited to share my final track listing for Breathe in. Breathe out. ❤️ can’t wait for you all to hear it! June 16th
Interestingly enough, there’s one collaboration on the record; a duet with Kendall Schmidt, who BreatheHeavy spoke with last year about Hilary.
We told him a quote Hilary said at the time about feeling frustrated growing up with the stigma of needing to be portrayed as a good role model because she wanted to explore herself, but there was “this reputation to hold up or whatever.”
“I think for me – especially with Heffron Drive – and riding this new boundary of having the freedom to not have to worry about everything. When I was in Nickelodeon I wasn’t worrying about everything because of the fans. I was worrying about everything because of the morality clause that you have to sign to be with Nickelodeon. If anything happened just on the off chance of just being a normal person and getting into trouble from time to time. I was worried about that stuff.”
Kendall added he sees where Hilary is coming from, but notes she was given a huge gift in return for said burden: fame & fortune.
And now, we leave you with this leaked snippet of a song that might be “Lies” or the title track:
