Madonna’s Eurovision Performance In Danger Because Of Controversial Song Choice

Queen of controversy.

The rumors that Madonna is readying a world tour are gaining momentum. A French newspaper claims Madonna will embark on a tour come September.

There’s also buzz she’ll perform at Eurovision in May. Canadian-Israeli billionaire Sylvan Adams said it’s “looking very good” that Madonna will agree.

“We’ve reached out to Madonna to try to add a little bit of glitz to the event,” he said via JPost. “It’s looking very good that she’s going to come here and participate in the Eurovision Song Contest.”

However, there’s chatter her performance could fall through because of the song choice. JPost published a second article on the matter, this time claiming it might not happen because officials aren’t keen on one of Madonna’s song selections. She also reportedly filmed a political advertisement that would “lead to controversy,” but it’s unclear if that has anything to do with the possible decision of barring her from performing.

Rumor has it Madonna’s lead single premieres this spring. Read more about that here.

Last year, fansite News Of Madonna claimed Live Nation was scouting spots for the Queen of Pop to perform in arenas overseas, including stops in Paris, Bordeaux or Montpellier.
