Halsey’s new video for “Alone,” featuring Big Sean and Stefflon Don, has arrived.

Halsey’s new video for “Alone,” featuring Big Sean and Stefflon Don, has arrived.

The remix received a luxurious, Hannah Lux Davis-visual that finds the singer dealing with heartbreak as she struts around an extravagant mansion party looking for her lost lover.

“Never underestimate the power of a broken heart,” Halsey tweeted of the new video.

Ahead of the clip, Halsey took offense to someone saying her upcoming music video for “Alone” looks like Iggy’s “Savior” clip. In a now-deleted Tweet, Halsey said “I’ve been using the R&J visuals since April of 2017. NAHHHHH,” she wrote. R&J stands for Romeo & Juliet.

“My record concept and all my videos have referenced Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet, neon crosses and church motifs included, since April 2017 and I did so with permission from Baz himself.” Halsey is referring to Baz Luhrmann, the director of the 1996 film William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet and Mouline Rouge!.

Halsey also Tweeted then deleted: “How can u rip off someone who ripped u off?”

Of course, Iggy clapped back asking if Halsey smoked crack. And yes, this headline is sarcastic and unnecessary.
