Halsey Celebrates “Without Me” Hitting No. 1 By Dropping A Remix With Juice WRLD: Listen

Halsey’s “Without Me” remix featuring Juice WRLD is a victory lap.

The anti pop star (her words) dethroned Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” from the Billboard Hot 100. “Without Me” steadily creeped up the charts for weeks and finally peaked at No. 1. This marks Halsey’s first solo chart topper – her other was “Closer,” a collaboration with The Chainsmokers (I wonder what they’re up to?).

I’m not a huge fan of remixes that keep the original vocals and feature an additional verse from a second artist, but this’ll do.

On it, the rapper mirrors Halsey’s heartbreak: “I still hate it when you’re not there / I know I should, I know I should, but no I don’t care.”

To be honest I prefer the original sans Juice WRLD. Have I persuaded you to listen?
