The Grammy Nominations Might Have Leaked Ahead Of Schedule

November 19, 2019 By Jordan Miller

Updated too soon.

Nominations for the 2020 Grammy awards are officially announced on Wednesday (November 20), however it appears the organization mistakenly let us in on who will score nominations a day ahead of schedule.

The Grammys website updated artist profiles to include their total nominations count. The problem is, the numbers they listed were inflated. For example, it said Taylor had a total of 35 nominations, when in actuality she has 32. That could mean she’ll receive three nominations at the forthcoming Grammys.

More artists accounted for include Lizzo with 8, Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X with 6 apiece, 5 for Ariana Grande, 4 for Beyonce, 3 for Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga and 2 for Lana Del Rey, among others.

Keep in mind we don’t yet know what categories they are nominated in, or if the tally is 100% accurate; it could’ve been a hiccup on the Grammys website.
