Find out what Britney Spears, Charli XCX and Sia will be singing.
The much anticipated tracklist and cover of Giorgio Moroder’s new LP has finally been unveiled.
The 74 year old disco legend has remained tight lipped about the exact details of new record, entitled ‘Déjà Vu’ (despite widespread acceptance that it would be called ’74 is the New 24′), which features collaborations from Charli XCX, Sia, Kelis and Britney Spears, who will – as reported by BreatheHeavy – be performing a cover of the Suzanne Vega classic “Tom’s Diner”.
In other news, it would seem that hinted collaboration with Lady Gaga failed to come to fruition as the “Bad Romance” star does not make an appearance on the album – there are still persistent rumors that he’ll be lending a production hand to her next set, however.

Although writing credits haven’t been released yet, it’d seem that Britney’s the only artist taking on a cover – a bold move from Spears, especially a song as iconic as “Tom’s Diner”. Having said that, Brit’s vocal style matches “Tom’s Diner” to a tee and realistically it’s one of the best songs that they could have chosen for the “Toxic” star. The offbeat lyrical style and acoustic instrumental will be an interesting change of pace and with any luck Britney will add the track to her award winning Vegas residency, ‘Britney: Piece of Me’.
