Florence + The Machine conclude The Odyssey with artistic new video.

Since the release of their third album, Florence + The Machine have been weaving together a stunning short film to represent each single, called The Odyssey.

With today’s release of ‘Third Eye’, the How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful film comes to a gripping end, as lead vocalist Florence Welsh makes her way through a series of physical performances scenes, ending with her taking the stage with the band:

Welch spoke about the new visual’s meaning:

This is the finale of a very personal project that came from a conversation me and Vince had in the Chateau Marmont about a year and a half ago while I was writing How Big How Blue How Beautiful. I was talking to him about the record and the car crash of a relationship break up I was going through. The highs and the lows of love and performance, how out of control I felt, the purgatory of heartbreak, and how I was trying to change and trying to be free. And we decided we would re-tell this story in full.

The ending is compelling, the camera takes a 360 degree trip around Welsh as she belts out a key lyric from Third Eye acapella, finishing on an incredible note just as the curtains open and the crowd roars.
