Fifth Harmony is movin’ on to pursue solo careers.

Fifth Harmony is movin’ on.

Fifth Harmony wrote a letter to fans confirming their plans to pursue solo careers instead.

“Reflecting on the past six years since we started on X-Factor, we’ve realized just how far we’ve come and we appreciate everything so much, more now than ever. We’ve really had one hell of a memorable journey together and can’t begin to express our gratitude to y’all for coming along with us on this wild ride,” the letter reads.

They also explained taking time away from the group will allow them to grow creatively.

“We also realized that in order to stay authentic to ourselves and to you, we do need to take some time for now to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavors.”

They shared gratitude towards Harmonizers and have high hopes to bring the band back together again one day.

“To our Harmonizers, thank you for everything we have been able to build as Fifth Harmony. With your love and encouragement we will continue to build on ourselves, support one another in everything we do, and keep making you proud, each other proud and ourselves proud.”

We saw this coming. The girls have been pursuing solo projects for some time now . Lauren is reportedly leaving Epic for Columbia Records to release a solo record. Normani’s standalone debut LP is already more than 30% complete and Dinah Jane dipped her toe in the solo waters with a collab on producer RedOne’s “U Here Tonight” with French Montana and Daddy Yankee. And just last week, news broke that Ally Brooke signed with Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph, who will handle her solo ventures.
