music Invitation is one of the best songs she's ever done

And what a way to start an album. It's such an underrated gem. It's unique, heavenly, euphoric, good lyrics, what's not to love?

I like it, but I would of liked it even more if they didn't use that stupid wobble effect they use on her voice during the chorus.:selenerz:  Besides that, a good song. Her vocals (beside the chorus lol) and the instrumental make the song so dreamlike. One of the few songs I enjoy from Glory. :mhmnod:

I literally cannot stand the effect on her voice throughout, but particularly in the verses. It sounds so overly processed, almost like she's singing into a fan. If it weren't for that effect I would love the song. It's such a shame really.

I agree .. it’s a track that impressed me with glory. I think it’s on in the zone level.

Definitely agree, it’s such a great opening, I just wish they had Make Me follow afterwards on the album rather than do you want to come over (although I think lyrically it makes sense I guess) but rhythmically it flows better after invitation fades out and then you hear the first notes of Make Me.

Lmao it seems they rearranged the tracks for the special edition (the one that's on Spotify). Why does everything with Britney have to be so messy? smh

I always wanted her to do an actual intro so I was shook beyond repair when I first heard it!  :airpls:

DYWCO is track 7

Yeah, the physical version has DYWCO as the second track for some reason.

Her vocal performances on Glory is perfection

The last time I remembered her sounding this good was on ITZ

Glory is still my fav album from her based on her vocal performances alone

It's a cool and moody song but no :nonoNO:

It features a lot of falsettos but unlike other tracks in which she uses that same technique, Invitation is intentionally edited. I like it but as most of the Glory songs, I need to be in the mood in order to listen to them. The only songs I still listen to are DYWCO, Better, Change Your Mind.

Damn I need to get that version. The iTunes one has the same playlist, just not the official cd version. WTH?
