‘Blackout’ Photographer Ellen von Unwerth Shares New Godney Outtake

Recommended Posts

Britney's Blackout is the album that keeps on giving.

The album turned 10-years-old this week, and the industry is celebrating the Pop Bible in the best ways. MTV says the record "reinvented pop music," Facebook created a Blackout filter for fans to change their profile photos and photographer Ellen von Unwerth, the mastermind behind Britney's eerily stunning Blackout album photoshoot, is sharing a couple of never-before-seen photos of the pop star in her element.

The latest outtake to break the Internet? Britney biting a cross(!!!). It's an epic shot taken from her pictorial alongside the priest with devilish good looks. It's a striking image, probably one of the most powerful photos she's ever taken. Blackout is such a gem, and Unwerth is sitting on a treasure trove of images that'll likely never see the light of day. Such a shame, but we'll take what we can get.

Peep the new-ish image below and show Unwerth some love on the gram:

I remember reading that the released pics were actually very tamed compared to the rest of the photoshoot...this one would be controversial back then. People hated on Britney for no reason. Imagine if this was released

Great picture!

I understand why it was it was not included in the booklet. The cross in her mouth would have stirred controversy. :umomg:

And she is definitely in a confessional. The Queen was telling the peasants how to abide by the Holy Spearit. :queenflopga:

She was practically fucking the priest actor in some photos, so I'm not surprised. :queenflopga: I want to see THOSE.
