Kelly Clarkson’s Performance Of “Love So Soft” On The AGT Finale Will Knock Your Socks Off

Recommended Posts

She did that!

Kelly Clarkson gets a standing ovation for her performance of "Love So Soft" on the America's Got Talent finale.

Kelly is making the rounds to promote her new soul-inspired album Meaning Of Life (out Oct. 27). She dropped by the final show of this season's America's Got Talent to sing lead single "Love So Soft," and she nailed it (obviously).

Clarkson doesn't need a huge spectacle going on around her when she takes the stage, and that's what makes this extra special. Her larger-than-life vocals hog the spotlight.

It also got judge Simon Cowell to his feet. “Kelly is one of my favorite-ever contestants. She, in my opinion, is part of the reason we’re all standing here tonight,” he said. “The first time I made one of the shows, an amazing singer won. Then she had a huge career. She was very loyal, very appreciative. So the fact that I’m here with her 16 years later, it’s amazing.”

Amazing performance. Simon's words (in the article not in the video) are so heartwarming, you can tell he's genuine and it's true, they're here 16 years later. :tifftear:

That was honestly one of her weakest vocal performances, IMO (she sounded/appeared really tired). Of course, Kelly's worst is still better than just about anyone else's best.

It was an ok performance.  I agree that she sounds a bit tired. I hope Christina gets her stylist for her next era because she clearly knows how to dress thick/chubby women.
