Taylor Swift Has The Last Laugh In The "Look What You Made Me Do" Video: Watch

Recommended Posts

Her multiple personalities take center stage.

Taylor Swift is back with a vengeance.

Her new music video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” the lead single off the pop star’s forthcoming album, Reputation, sheds light on the harsh criticism she constantly endures.

“Here Lies Taylor Swift’s Reputation,” reads a tombstone in the opening scene of the Joseph Kahn-directed video before a frightening zombie Taylor emerges from the ground.

From there, the singer soaks in a tub of diamonds, swings around in a golden cage and executes some stylized choreography Beyonce style, but it all leads up to the video’s climax: Taylor’s past… relived. Recognizable Taylors from key moments throughout her illustrious career battle it out in a dog pile before arguing with one another (there's even a dig at Katy Perry, because she keeps receipts). Taylor flips the script with little subtlety.

It’s easily her most polished video to date, and definitely the most “pop.” Now if only her reputations can work in sync.

You lying lol that was very basic sis, a bunch of ideas that have already been done. Her self drag at the end was the only thing good about it :hahaha:

She served looks, dance, throwbacks and aesthetic in 4 minutes. All without using obvious recycled Madonna concepts too. :tiffcackle:

Mona Lisa and Gimme More want their concepts back. :whitney:

Mona Lisa didn't get a video and there are no similarities between LWYMMD and GM.

Taylors video just came off like her complaining, straight up just complaining, like her life really is that hard.

You literally could pick out a moment for every scene that she's referring to. It's like she legit sat home and watched other videos and movies just to have her dancing for 15 seconds.....acting like she wasn't serving the same dance moves in Shake It Off.
