  1. RuPaul has been known as the “Queen of drag” ever since, circa: the 90s He/she had come out as a drag queen in very controversial and conservative times (especially in the early 90s) and had managed to open a huge gate for other people who take Drag as a career however, have anyone of you known that he also makes music? I will show three songs from him: (Honestly my most favorite song from him) (It honestly sounds so EDM generic) So what do you guys think? I have just showed only two songs but feel free to explore rupauls music more!
  2. How is everyone doing during this crazy Quarantine life we have been living? I have been pretty good today, but some days I have had incredibly bad anxiety. Cold sweats, being simultaneously too hot and too cold. My mind would run wild and sabotage my sleep. I’ve never wanted to consider medication out of fear of addiction, which is something I have battled in the past. It got so bad though that I was about to check myself in somewhere. The only thing I found solace in was THC/CBD Tincture. It’s not to get high off of, but without it I literally start shaking because my nerves are basically shot. And the scary thing is, absolutely nothing is “wrong”, I’m safe, I have a place to live, some money saved in the bank, bills paid, food, entertainment (Netflix, Hulu etc), but I would literally start going crazy almost daily for about a month until very recently when I started taking Tincture. People say it’s the planets moving into retrograde. People say it’s because I’m a ♋️ cancer and I’m highly emotional. Some say it’s coming into my “powers” of being an empath, especially with everything going on in the world it’s like.... overload. I just wanted to check in with you all, I hope nobody is feeling how I can get to feeling lately, but if you are I hope you find SOME kind of comfort from knowing you aren’t alone. ❤️ I have been watching Haters back Off with Miranda Sings on Netflix. Absolutely ridiculous, but ridiculously funny. It definitely helped pull me out of a funk if you need something light and funny to watch. The opening scenes should be enough to put a smile on your face. I’ve started to crochet again, something simple to quickly occupy my mind. Headphones really help a lot! They fill your head with sound, which can drown out a lot of the negativity your brain might be trying to throw at you, a couple of my favorite podcasts are What’s The T with Rupaul and Michelle Visage. Over 200 episodes, great witty banter, great guests, great advice. Another is Boulet Brothers Creatures of the Night, Drag, Filth, Horror, Glamour.... the fabulous Swanthula and Dracmorda Boulet bring true horror stories from our history, movie reviews and fun guests, it’s a new one, so there are only a few episodes so far, but its something you can keep up with from the start! What are you doing to stay sane? Any advice for me? Do you need any advice? Let’s all work on being more kind to one another, that’s something the world is lacking.
  3. Did anybody else catch the first episode of Canada’s Drag Race tonight? If you are in an area with BBC 3 you can see it on Thursday nights. If you live in the U.S. you can watch it on the Wow Presents Plus app. Yes, it’s another subscription service, but it’s one I recommend if you are a fan of drag race. Lots of original content featuring many of the queens from the show. You can also watch Drag Race UK here. And it’s probably the cheapest subscription service you can get, like $3.99/month. If you did watch the show, what do you think? I think it was a cute Idea to have a different Panel, I kinda missed Ru, but Brooklyn did a good job. Overall I was not disappointed and the lip sync was really good for being the first episode.
  4. Rupaul Drag Race s12 finale is happening just now.. are there some exhale stands? I am team Jaida, she is gorgeous and elegant ... Gigi as well... Crystal Method hmm dont know she has some very original looks though Since I am not in the US, I need to wait for the show to be over so I can see on a digital platform, but would like to know who is your favorite?
  5. Actor Jeff Goldblum appeared as one of the guest judges on RuPaul's Drag Race. He's embroiled in controversy for asking if Islam was "anti-homosexuality" and "anti-woman" during Friday night’s episode of the show. "Is there something in this religion that is anti-homosexuality and anti-woman? Does that complicate the issue? I'm just raising it and thinking out loud and maybe being stupid," he said. It happened during a segment where one of the contestants, Jackie Cox (whose non-drag name is Darius Rose), wore a red-striped caftan with a midnight blue hijab outlined with 50 silver stars. Goldblum was criticized because Islam is not alone in being a religion that that has historically discriminated against women and the LGBTQ community. While tearful on the runway, Cox shared that "it’s a complex issue" and she has her "own misgivings about the way LGBT people are treated in the Middle East." "At the same time, I am one," Cox continued. "What is so important to me is that if you just happen to be different, then live that truth." While cultural norms and traditional readings of Islamic sacred text can promote a heteronormative binary of gender identification and sexual orientation, according to a recent survey by Public Religion Research Institute, more than half (52 percent) of American Muslims agreed that "society should approve of homosexuality." There is definitely a conversation to be had here. Exhale, what do you think about this?
