  1. According to the RIAA (Recording industry Association of America), only 3 albums released in 2020 went platinum (soon to be 4 when Taylor's folklore gets audited), 4 albums went Gold. Jhene Aiko, Future, Eminem and Changes by Justin Bieber. Only 11 released songs in 2020 went platinum, however several are gold.. Only one Latin album went double platino, alter ego by Prince Royce. My question is: does the music suck these days, or is it cause of Covid? All the popular acts stopped releasing music til they can tour. "WAP" is double platinum – the only 2020 song to go multi platinum this year. I have noticed several pre-2020 albums for more re-certified like Teenage Dream went 8X platinum, Lady Gaga's old catalog was hugely re-certified. Is anybody listening to music from today?? I have noticed even on Billboard their Nielsen streaming data gives out very low numbers. Even the king of streaming Drake is failing to get a huge hit. Thoughts?
  2. Hello Exhale and Britney Spears fans! So looking through Britney’s RIAA certifications I noticed that some of them haven’t been updated in over 19 years! She clearly isn’t getting the recognition she deserves anymore and I just think it would be a nice gift for her. We got Glory to number one on Pop iTunes and look how she rewarded us! I’m not sure how to go about this but I think messaging the RIAA and asking them in their comments is an easy, non-crazy way to do this. I don’t really care about the charts I just don’t like my queen disrespected. Also stay safe everyone!
  3. Ok. So I hate to break it to you. But Nicki is not the highest certified rapper . That would be Cardi B. Stan Twitter and Fans credited her features as part of her RIAA database. But nope. RIAA only gives certs to the main artist. Not the featured act. So nicki wasn't in the 100 million club at all. RIAA states her certs stands at 30.5 Million digital singles. Even if you add her albums. It won't go to 100. She has two platinum albums and two double platinum albums. 30.5 plus six million is 36.5. Cardi still trumps her with the iconic Grammy winning invasion of privacy. 35.5 Million digital singles Plus a triple platinum album. That's now the longest charting female rap ever. 38.5 altogether. Cardi is still more successful than the barbz think. In two years. She outsold Nicki. So y'all been lied to. RIAA denies nicki in the 100 million club. Cos all her features aren't hers in the database. She only has a few just credited to her.
  4. The recording industry association of America just went thru an update. Billie Eilish is now part of the top ten certified females in the digital singles category. At the age of 18. She doesn't turn 20 til 2021. She surpassed Cardi B, Ariana grande and nicki and countless other. She'll probably at the 50 million threshold when she turns 20. And to think she's the only act from this century actually doing something for herself in music. If only her former friend Bhad Bhabie found her niche instead of being an Azealia Banks in training pants..
  5. Hi guys, I would like to ask for your help if there's anyone here that can verify this list if it's true... Best selling female artists of all time...
