  1. On September 23, 1999, the MuchMusic Awards took place in Toronto. Britney Spears was there to perform a medley of Sometimes and (You Drive Me) Crazy. She also presented the Best Pop Video award.
  2. Do you think she is ever going to perform there again? A small part of me says not but then another part says that she will. If she does she would have a lot of pressure on her due to how bad 2007 went and the media would go crazy... Thoughts?
  3. Megan Thee Stallion performed at the BET Awards tonight, and it was one for the books. Because of COVID, artists are dreaming up innovative ways to virtually perform. Megan cooked up something brilliant for her new song "Girls in the Hood" and mega hit, "Savage." Megan also won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the awards show. Check it out below. How'd she do, Exhale? Related:
  4. Three of your favorite performances? No Vma awards or tour performances. omg it is so difficult to choose
  5. Despite all the criticism, this is still one of her many great performances This performance solidified her comeback from a turbulent previous year She looks happy, healthy and we could all see that fire in her eyes again
  6. So I was kinda surprised when I saw that she was gonna part of this livestream show by a Mexican radio station, Alfa 91.3. She performed We Are Warriors, Head Above Water and Keep Holding On. Here's the full thing
  7. Christina Aguilera And Miguel turned on the Spanish heat in a special performance for the “Disney Family Singalong: Volume II” special. They sang "Remember Me" from the film "Coco." It won Best Original song at the 2018 Academy Awards, featured on the film's Spanish-language soundtrack album. Xtina sounds really great here! I'm glad artists are still doing something, but this at-home stuff is just not the tea. Thoughts on the performance?
  8. Exhale's pop anniversaries calendar is lit! Yesterday we celebrated the release of "Pretty Girls," which caught the attention of Iggy Azalea and caused a little controversy. Today in our ongoing 'This Day In Pop' series is Britney's performance at the World Music Awards on May 5, 1999. Huge shout-out to @PokemonSpears for adding this flawless anniversary! It's also pretty fun to look back on this iconic but slightly forgotten-about performance. The black wig is iconic. Exhale, it would be greatly appreciated if you contributed to our Pop Anniversaries calendar so we can continue these types of celebrations all year long. 🙏 Please head over to the date and leave a couple of comments. 9. Christina Aguilera sang the iconic Lion King song from the comfort of her home as part of The Disney Family Singalong. It's a little special created simply to raise our spirits amidst this scary time. Ariana Grande performed too. Xtina sounds amazing! Thoughts on her performance?
  10. Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, and Lang Lang closed out the 'One World' special with a performance of "The Prayer." The harmonies in the end Gaga did such an incredible job putting this together.
  11. Lady Gaga co-curated an amazing lineup of performers to sing songs to help spread positivity. There's an official Exhale thread on it here. Gaga covered Nat King Cole's "Smile." It was posted on the Global Citizen website. Do you love it?
  12. Beyonce joined the likes of Ariana Grande and Christina Aguilera to perform a classic Disney song as part of the Family Singalong special. It's the first time Beyonce has said anything since the pandemic started. It's nice to see her again. 'Don't give up hope, we're gonna get through this. I promise," she said.
  13. The Dolls performed an acoustic version of "React." You'd think the other Dolls would've been given more of a chance to shine, but Nicole dominates the performance. They're great background singers though
  14. Dua Lipa slayed her at-home performance of "Don't Start Now" on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Her vocals sound really good It's really weird seeing performances like this, but that's 2020 for you What do you guys think? How'd she do?
  15. Mandy Moore performed one of her new songs, "When I Wasn't Watching," on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. There was no audience at the taping because of the Coronavirus, which creates an ominous undertone to the performance. The irony of the song title doesn't escape me. Check out Mandy's performance below. How'd she do? Anyone a fan of her new tunes?
  16. A pregnant Katy Perry is in Australia right now working hard and performing. She performed "Never Really Over" at a benefit concert in Bright. Before anyone drags her for the low-budget looking stage... the show's purpose was to cheer locals up and put Victorian tourism back on the map after the small town was devastated by the recent fires. I forgot how much "NRO" goes off. Katy out there promoting while others are cancelling left and right bc of Coronavirus. Thoughts on her performance?
  17. Christina Aguilera performed her new song, "Loyal Brave True" from the forthcoming Mulan soundtrack at Jimmy Kimmel Live. I've grown pretty fond of this ballad. It's nice to hear a ballad from Xtina where her vocals are a bit purposefully restrained. We know she loves a good shout/growl. Check out her performance below. What do you guys think? Is she slaying it or does the song fall flat for ya?
  18. Katy Perry is glowing during her performance of "Roar" & "Firework" at the ICC Woman’s T20 World Cup in Australia. I'm actually really happy for her. Did yo watch the performance? How do you think she did?
  19. The Weeknd's new era is soo good. He debuted a new song titled "Scared To Live" during his appearance on SNL. It's an '80s-tinged, melancholy, synth-pop ballad. I'm not sure how I feel about the bloodied up aesthetic, but the music is everything. Thoughts on his new tune?
