On November 4, 2017, the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation officially opened the "Britney Spears Campus" in Las Vegas. The facility came to reality thanks to the $1 million that Britney donated through the sale of tickets from her Britney: Piece of Me residency. Clark County Commission Steve Sisolak equated Spears’ $1 million donation as well. “I’m just really excited to be standing here for our new NCCF campus,” said Britney during the ceremony. “We started fundraising in 2014 and we’ve raised $1 million to build this amazing facility to support the kids and the families everywhere. I’m so thankful to everyone for their generosity in making this a reality and making this happen.” She then proceeded to cut the ribbon as Stronger played in the background. Jeff Gordon, the CEO of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation added "We can’t thank Britney enough being able to do this. Our dream for many, many years has been to be able to have one one building that all of our 45 programs can come together in one place. And that we are able to to today, and that doesn’t happen without someone like Britney Spears. We saw a side of Britney Spears that so many people maybe don’t have the opportunity to see. You realize what a special person Britney is. She’s an incredible performer, we know all that, but she does care and the more we’ve gotten to know her, the more grateful we’ve become to her, and the kids have adored her [...] until today people haven’t totally understood what Britney Spears has meant to this community. We’ve all seen her on stage, we’ve all seen her perform and what a phenomenal performer and entertainer she is, but what’s she’s doing today is another side of Britney that unfortunately most of us haven’t had the opportunity to see before. What she is doing today, and continues to do, is going to benefit thousands of children that comes through this facility, and for that we are sincerely thankful and very, very appreciative." Britney made the donations through the years after her residency started and was involved in different events to support the NCCF: -
In 2014, November 5 was declared the official "Britney Day" in Las Vegas. To celebrate her impact with her Britney: Piece of Me residency that started in 2013, a huge event was celebrated at the LINQ Promenade where Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak presented Britney with an official proclamation, as well as the Key to the iconic Las Vegas Strip. Additionally, an invitation was extended to all the people named Britney (with any kind of spelling) to attend the event. The first 100 "Britney's" that checked in at the High Roller Wheel House with a valid government I.D would receive free tickets for her Piece of Me show, and would get access to a priority area to view the event. -

We already know that she acts and dresses a certain way so as to draw attention away from her. I realize she has do to whatever she can to dodge the paparazzi. I get that part. While I do believe it's a tactic that has worked for her, lately I’ve noticed more and more that her way of dressing/attending fans has carried over to who she is as a performer on stage. Off stage, she is just another person among everyone else. If she does not care to style her hair, or wear flattering outfits, it’s none of my business. My concern is, Britney out and about vs Britney the popstar have become one and the same. I remember being able to make a distinction between the two a few years back. But as of late, we are given little to no personal touches from her as an artist. At least, none that feel sincere. Yet we still idolize her. We dream of a day she goes into character and sticks to the plot throughout the whole performance. The day that she actually talks to her audience during her shows. GUYS I don’t mean the same old 3 lines she’s delivered for the past 10 years. It seems to me the fans have been shoved into the same room as the media. A cold dark place with no promo, energy, or charisma. Lately, it's like she’s pushing US away too… (i.e., the meet and greet horror stories). If nothing else, I want Britney to own it. Be fierce and look FLAWLESS, at least when she’s on stage. We’re all in the same army here, how do you feel about it? -

I made a playlist of songs with positive messages, one of them being Britney Spears - Stronger. I listen to this playlist regularly at work. Unfortunately every time the chorus starts, the mental image of Britney in a fruit roll up leotard with a messy bun and crappy makeup doing the zumba choreography pops up in my mind. That performance kinda ruined the song for me tbh. I wish I could un-see it. What song did Piece of Me ruin for you, and why? -

My last video, (Britney, Piece of Me 2016, Bloopers and Funny Moments) was really successful, and it was my motivation to do this one. ....Britney decided to bring back all her scrapped choreography from POM for the last run of the show. She'd perform the original Piece of Me choreo at the chorus, all of Circus, Break the Ice, and bring back the chair for Slave 4 U, and do it all with more energy than it had before, and give us hope for the next era. I can dream.

Hi everybody, I know that Britney has done Halloween shows in the past (on the actual date), but did she do a Halloween show last year on the 29th? I just got tickets for 10/28, which is her last show before Halloween, and I'm hoping everybody will dress up and stuff (I'm from the Salem, Mass area after all!) . I checked out some YouTube videos from last year and it didn't look like that was the case, but if anybody here knows for sure I would love to know! Thanks

UPDATE 11/20: The entire experience was FANtastic!! I met fun fans from across the US and the UK. Before the show, I tried to start a chant of "WERK! WERK!..." and I failed... I drew a scar on my face like the beau from the "Slumber Party" vid. People were like "what's that on your face?" SMH. I hope Britney and the dancers knew what I was going for. During the show, I focused on my QUEEN instead of my SCREEN. The show itself was spectacular and its star was shining brightly with a radiating energy that pulsated throughout the Axis. The backup dancers were astonishing and engaging. The sets and visuals were varied and on-point. The magic was real! I screamed and shouted til I was (Radar) hoarse. I yelled "GLORY" after her 3 performances from the album. I laughed. I danced. I cried twice. I plan to make a longer post recounting my experience with suggestions for those who plan to attend the show. I'm making a Vegas trip "Work *****" music video-- I'll share that with y'all, too. ORIGINAL: I'm seeing Britney perform in "Piece of Me" this Saturday with my boyfriend!!! The last time I saw her perform was at the Oops! tour in New Orleans (with my dad). Any advice from fellow superfans who have gone before me? We're standing in the pit and I'm stoked!! But I'm very tall and I'm concerned that I'm going to be blocking people.. Also, what are some worthwhile attractions (wink?) to pursue in Vegas? -

Since I've signed up here, I have seen fans (not only here) saying that they will unstan Britney if she announces more Vegas dates...and now there is a chance of having just that.So I was wondering..will u unstan her? I probably won't because I've just started following her recently (don't know where my head was) and I am interested how her life will continue (..and I like how u guys always make theories about stuff and get so worked up)

Last year in September she announced '2 more years' but so far we have dates until February. Do we know if she will add more dates or the residency finishes in February? The reason I'm asking is that I'm planning to go to USA in Summer/Autumn 2017 and would love to go to Vegas to see her show. Please advise
