  1. Wrabel tapped Kesha for a massive new pride tune titled "since i was young." Their voices melt together over a pounding beat. The anthemic chorus. “Since I was young / I always tried to cover up,” they sing. “Who I was and who I love, then I got older.” It's the latest taste from Wrabel's forthcoming debut album. “[Kesha] is like a sister to me,” Wrabel said. “She’s changed my life and changed the way I want to create and showed me what it means to be an artist and what it means to celebrate life, for all of its ups and downs and all-arounds. This song was basically just a conversation on that. It’s rare to get to work with someone that’s seen you as so many things and in so many phases. From drunk and sad, to sober and still sad, to sober and in-love and happy.” Listen below. How do we feel about it, Exhale? Related:
  2. This is her best song during her party girl era But I guess this kind of vulnerablity didn't fit the carefree persona she's trying to portray during her Cannibal era. What's your fave Cannibal song?
  3. Its Really Freaky how These two sound so similar. Like when i first heard Tik Tok i thought it was Ashley

  5. A never-before-heard demo of Kesha titled "I'm Trying" surfaced. It's apparently produced by SOPHIE. I know it's unfinished, but it sounds fresh! I wonder when it was recorded. Where my Kesha stans at? If anyone tries to derail my Kesha topic...
  6. Before his death earlier this year, Saturday Night Live music producer Hal Willner was working on a tribute album dedicated to the music of glam gods T. Rex and their late frontman Marc Bolan. The project, out later this summer, features Father John Misty, Joan Jett, U2 with Elton John, Kesha and more. Kesha's cover of "Children of the Revolution" is available to stream now. As StereoGum points out, legandary MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer plays on the song, as do drummer Pete Thomas and bassist Davey Faragher, Elvis Costello’s longtime rhythm section. On the cover, Kesha transforms the song into a howling, free-falling anthem. It's been a minute since we've heard anything new from Kesha, so this is a real treat. Check it out below. Thoughts, Exhale? Like Kesha's rendition?
  7. Just wondering how many albums she still owes Kemosabe, as I’ve found conflicting information. Any info helps!
  8. She did that Kesha usually skips the high note when she performs Praying. But NOT today sistrens. When she performed in the 'One World' special, she went for it and did not disappoint. She did that.
  9. Kesha shared a preview of a never-before-heard song, and it's a banger! I'm assuming it's titled "Nicolas Cage." That's what I'm calling it They're friends btw. They hung out in January together. Iconic. She sings over a hard-hitting electro beat with lyrics that sound straight out of Animal. Why is this low-key better than almost every song off High Road?
  10. Justice for High Road, but Kesha's 10-year-old single "Cannibal" is slaying "Tik Tok." The app, not her song. There are literally millions videos using it It's due to a challenge by a user named @ya.girl.bri.bri97. TikTokers looking to learn the dance are flocking to Genius to look up the song’s lyrics, leading to a sizable increase in pageviews. The challenge is based around the final line of the chorus and beginning of the second verse: I am cannibal (Cannibal, I’ll eat you up) Whenever you tell me I’m pretty That’s when the hunger really hits me Your little heart goes pitter-patter I want your liver on a platter Use your finger to stir my tea And for dessert, I’ll suck your teeth https://www.tiktok.com/music/Cannibal-5000000000529843558?pageType=6 There is now an official lyric video for it! No shade, but Kesha doesn't immediately come to mind when thinking of smart marketing. However, this is genius. Her song "Cannibal" Stream the good sis' song below.
  11. A judge ruled Kesha has to pay Dr. Luke $370,000. You can read more about it here: Taylor is donating $250,000 to Kesha to help, according to Rolling Stone. You may recall Swift pitched in to Kesha's legal bills a few years ago as well. We love a charitable queen. Thoughts?
  12. Serving glamour fashion queen. More + interview at Paper
  13. The video is wild. I'm not sure what to think about it. This is an assault to all my senses (in a good way?). Big Freedia's vocals are...... a lot.
