  1. On October 30, 2001, a group of artists under the name of Artists Against AIDS Worldwide released a 9 mix CD, which included multiple cover versions of the Marvin Gaye song What's Going On. The intention behind this album was to benefit the AIDS programs in Africa and other regions, but after the 9/11 attacks, it was decided that half of the proceeds would go to the American Red Cross' fund as well. The artists that collaborated in this campaign were Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Destiny's Child, Jermaine Dupri, Fred Durst, Eve, Perry Farrell, Nelly Furtado, Nona Gaye, Darren Hayes, Ja Rule, Jagged Edge, Alicia Keys, Aaron Lewis, Lil' Kim, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Martin, Pat Monahan, Monica, Nas, Nelly, *NSync, P. Diddy, T Boz and Chili, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Michael Stipe, User and Scott Weiland. The single, produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bono, peaked at #27 on the BBH100 and it became a Top 10 hit in several other countries. The music video was directed by Jake Scott.
  2. Jennifer Lopez and Maluma dropped a music video for their new collab "Pa’ Ti - Lonely." Both songs and videos are intertwined with one another. Jlo is a billionaire boss involved in some illegal business dealings. Maluma is just trying to understand which side to take. High budget. Good songs. Take all my money. Thoughts, Exhale?!
  3. So, yes I even saw Hustlers (her movie 2019) and I love her and want to know her best songs that I might have missed.
  4. Jennifer Lopez is working with OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder on new music. Tedder is responsible for some seriously epic songs. A copy + paste from his Wiki: Thoughts, Exhale?
  5. So I was going down memory lane and remembered VHI’s: 200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons from 2003 and I couldn’t believe JLO was ranked at #15 and Britney was at #20. I’m not denying that JLO has been a big part of pop culture, but in 2003 Britney had left her mark as well. I’m guessing Bennifer had a lot to do with Jlo ranking higher than Britney, but I’m still SHOCKED that they had Britney react to that and that she was placed lower than her competitor. So let’s take a look at their most iconic pop culture moments leading up to 2003 and see who was more deserving. Let me know if I missed any. BRITNEY 1998: Britney releases her mega successful debut single Baby One More Time and instantly becomes an international pop culture icon. 1999: The release of Baby One More Time & Rolling Stones cover 2000: Britney proved she was no one hit wonder and released another one of the most iconic videos and looks ever released. She followed up with her record setting sophomore album Oops...! I Did It Again. Bonus: MTV VMAs 2001: MTV VMA I’m a Slave 4 U performance Bonus: Britney & Justin Denim Outfits 2002: Britney’s big screen debut Bonus: Britney and Justin split 2003: Britney and Madonna kiss Bonus: Britney ties for youngest to get a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame JLO 1997: Jennifer Lopez becomes first Latina to make a million from her role in Selena 1999: Joined exclusive group of females with #1 debut single (after Britney) with If You Had My Love 2000: Versace dress at Grammys 2001: JLO nickname and album of the same name. Bonus: First #1 remix album ever 2002: Bennifer is born & Jenny From The Block 2003: Gigli Box office bomb Video: So who was the biggest pop culture icon by 2003? Of course I’m voting for Britney Discuss

  7. there have been a lot of videos lately exposing JLO as a vocal, song and style thier. What are your thoughts? Do you like her and not care? Do you hate her for it?
  8. "Gimme More" is used in JLo's new movie Hustlers and the whole scene is almost like 2 minutes long! I watched the movie this weekend and it's a great one!
  9. I stumbled across this and apparently either Britney or Jennifer Lopez were the contenders for the SuperBowl, however... Gaga BOUGHT HER WAY IN and i honestly believe it considering she's been dead in the music world since 2013 and needs all the help she can get what do you think?
