  1. Chance the Rapper trended on Twitter on Monday after publicly showing support for Kanye West for President of the United States. He also offered his disapproval of Biden. Chance commented on Kanye's new video dedicated to his mom, who tragically passed away in 2007. "And yall out here tryna convince me to vote for Biden. Smdh," he wrote. "Are u more pro biden or anti ye and why? I get that you’ll want to reply that you’re just tryna 'get trump out' but in this hypothetical scenario where you’re replacing Trump, can someone explain why Joe Biden would be better??" He added: "Ima keep it real alota u n****s is racist." Anyone who promotes the idea of Kanye being President can't be trusted imo. This is not a popularity contest or a time to vote for your friend when the country is in shambles. Thoughts?
  2. It only took 130,000 Americans to die for Trump to finally take wear a mask. In the United States, generally speaking, people are making connections to another person's political views in regards to wearing a mask or not. That's why we are the leading country in the world in cases - because instead of everyone agreeing it's not an infringement to our rights, rather it's to save lives, there are millions of people who oppose the mask guidelines. Anyway, for the first time ever (in public), Trump wore a mask. Hopefully his followers will join him. Unless... can someone defend why one shouldn't wear a mask while out in public?
  3. Online furniture retailer Wayfair is under a white-hot spotlight for allegedly trafficking children under the guise of expensive items. A user on Reddit sparked the conspiracy theory, pointing out that the company offers extremely expensive pillows and cabinets for literally thousands of dollars. Most of those names are also names of children who've gone missing. The names include Samiyah Mumun, Samara Duplessis, Yaritza Castro, Cameron James Dziedzic, Maru Durett and Kylah Coleman. Wayfair's cabinets named "Neriah," "Yaritza," "Samiyah" and "Alyvia" were briefly being sold at $13,000 each. There's even a theory actress Naya Rivera was kidnapped by Wayfair. "There is, of course, no truth to these claims," a Wayfair spokeswoman told Newsweek magazine. "The products in question are industrial grade cabinets that are accurately priced. Recognizing that the photos and descriptions provided by the supplier did not adequately explain the high price point," the spokeswoman said. "We have temporarily removed the products from the site to rename them and to provide a more in-depth description and photos that accurately depict the product to clarify the price point," she said. This makes me sick to my stomach.
  4. I love this woman so much. Its truly horrific what happened in Bosnia 25 years ago while entire world was watching. 8372 men and boys were killed in Srebrenica the youngest victim being 3 days old, while UN was still in the city. #neverForget
  5. A new "unknown pneumonia" that is potentially deadlier than the novel coronavirus has reportedly killed more than 1,700 people this year in the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan, according to a warning issued by Chinese officials Thursday. New cases of the unidentified pneumonia have been increasing significantly since mid-June across the country, said the embassy, adding that in some places, authorities are reporting hundreds of new cases a day. The rise has so far been concentrated in the regions of Atyrau, Aktobe and Shymkent, which together have almost 500 new cases and more than 30 critically ill patients, said the embassy statement, citing local media. The disease has killed 1,772 people this year, some of whom were Chinese citizens, according to the embassy. 628 of those deaths took place in June alone. "This disease is much deadlier than Covid-19," said the statement. The number of pneumonia cases in the capital city Nursultan have more than doubled this June from the same time last year, according to Kazakhstan's prominent news agency Kazinform, which cited official data. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/07/10/asia/kazakhstan-pneumonia-intl-hnk-scli-scn/index.html
  6. Kanye West announced he was running for President of the United States. He's serious. West gave an interview to Forbes about it. He opened up about a number of surprising things. I'm not even sure where to begin or what to unpack first. Below are some highlights... err, bullet points: That he’s running for president in 2020 under a new banner—the Birthday Party—with guidance from Elon Musk and an obscure vice presidential candidate he’s already chosen. “Like anything I’ve ever done in my life,” says West, “I’m doing to win.” That he no longer supports President Trump. “I am taking the red hat off, with this interview.” That he’s ok with siphoning off Black votes from the Democratic nominee, thus helping Trump. “I’m not denying it, I just told you. To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.” That he’s never voted in his life. That he was sick with Covid-19 in February. That he’s suspicious of a coronavirus vaccine, terming vaccines “the mark of the beast.” That he believes “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.” That he envisions a White House organizational model based on the secret country of Wakanda in Black Panther. 7. A giant Black Lives Matter mural is being painted on 5th Ave. in front of Trump Tower today. Trump has called this a "symbol of hate." Why does this feel so good? #BlackLivesMatter
  8. https://people.com/crime/mary-kay-letourneau-died-of-cancer/?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=peoplemag It's one of the most controversial cases and if anything it did prove that even females can be child predators, Though The victim in this case married her and said he was in love and made the move. He initiated the whole thing. Rest in hell Mary @Jordan Miller

  10. *trigger warning sensitive topics below I dont get why she's not. She records music with ped******s, she's married to a convicted ****** and supported her child ****** of a brother. Jeffree Star is cancelled for his racist remarks and rightly so, but why does she seem to just get a free pass. I dont want any bull-ish that people change etc or he did his time for his crime. She may not have commited the crimes herself, i guess love is blind or whatever, but what's the excuse for 6ix9ine getting a free pass?
  11. Bad news for Kanye, But a big collective breather for us all. Kanye can't run, as he missed too many important deadlines. Which is great as Both Hollywood and the world were laughing and making fun of him and The swifties being great detectives were going to dig dirt on him to disqualify him. Thank god.
  12. Justin Bieber said it hurt when his longtime friend Christian Beadles' publicly declared that he's a Trump supporter. Bieber previously dated his Christian's sister, Caitlin. Beadles wrote a caption saying he's not going to live in shame for being a Trumpster, and says he doesn't see color because we are all children of God. It appears to dismiss the #BlackLivesMatter movement while showing love for a man that could care less about helping his country or people. Bieber wasn't having it. He wrote "This one hurts man this ain't it" then unfollowed him. I know Bieber gets a lot of flack for everything he does, but it's nice to see him on the right side of history (I know he's Canadian, and what about it?). Thoughts?
  13. I live in the UK and this is so embarrassing to see and it's made me even more anxious (luckily I don't live in London and it doesn't appear it was like this near me). 15. U.K Prime Minister Boris Johnson has offered three million Hong Kongresidents the chance to live and work in the U.K., following China’s imposition of new security laws on the region. Johnson told Parliament on July 1 that the enactment of the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region” by Hong Kong authorities was a “clear and serious breach” of the 1985 Sino-British joint declaration. The legally binding international agreement outlined how certain freedoms would remain protected for 50 years after China gained sovereignty in 1997. Full article on Time
  16. I’m sick of covid-19. I’m sick of black vs white. I’m sick of Democrats vs Republicans. I’m sick of gay vs straight. I’m sick of Christians vs atheists. I’m REALLY sick of the media. I’m sick of no one being allowed to think what they want & feel what they do without offending someone. I am sick of blaming the whole for the sins of a few. We’re one race—the human race. You want to support President Trump? You do you. It’s your choice. You want to support Biden? Fine... also your choice! You want to believe in God? Okay, believe in God. You want to believe in magical creatures that fly around & sprinkle fairy dust to make life better? Awesome... you do you. BUT stop thrusting your beliefs on others & not being able to deal with the fact that they don’t have the same exact mind-set as you. Having our own minds is what makes us all individual and beautiful. If you can’t handle the fact that you may have a friend that has opposing views as you, then you are not any better than the bigots and the racists. I don’t have to agree with everything you believe to be a decent human being & be your friend. *steps off soapbox
  17. Apparently scientists in China have discovered new a strain of influenza found in pigs. Even though it’s not an immediate threat, they say it has the potential to be transferred over to humans. Flu virus with 'pandemic potential' found in China Full Article So guys, ready for another one? If it does happen?
  18. So where are we at now ladies? Are we still under lock down, have we flattened the curve? Is your country handling the pandemic effectively? How are we doing in like month 3-4 of quarantine? I live in Los Angeles County and cases have been rising increasingly the past week or so. Bars and nightlife spaces were ordered closed today. Our country has no solid testing/contact tracing regime in place, the right-wing believes the pandemic is over, and many people (leaders too) think wearing a mask will kill you... I’m literally going to be driven (Crazy)
  19. Former Vice President Joe Biden is ahead of Trump by 14 points in a new poll conducted by The NY Times and Siena College. The stats are based off a poll of 1,337 registered voters from June 17 to June 22, leading among women and nonwhite voters and cutting into his support with white voters. A snippet from The NY Times article: Thoughts on the current figures?
  20. Hello everyone. I'm using this (and a couple of other) platforms to reach out to people and shed some light on the current situation our world is facing in the present. You're obviously all aware of the epidemic that we're all going through together. However, did you know that unlike most European, North American countries, and Australia and New Zealand, other countries are facing humanitarian crisis as we've never seen before in written history. A lot of countries are suffering from the lack of medical supplies, as well as hygienic products which is making their recovery from COVID-19 much, MUCH slower, if not putting it to a halt. Probably the country that's having it the worst is Yemen. Yemen is currently facing a hunger crisis so severe that 80% of its population is currently STARVING. I'm posting some of the photos below. *VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED* Why is this happening? Well, Yemen is currently having a couple of civil conflicts which closed nearly all of its ports. This country imports 90% of its food and now they barely have any. Unfortunately, COVID-19 reached them as well, and now we are witnessing a literal erasure of a whole nation in front of our noses. For some reason, media is not shedding enough light on the suffering of these people who desperately need help from fellow humans. BUT WE CAN HELP On my free time, I work a lot with United Nations (as a part of their marketing campaign, I do this completely for free) trying to raise awareness on topics like these. UN has developed an applications called "Share the Meal." The point of it is to donate food to those who need it most at this point. The application will immediately tell you which countries are suffering from food shortage and ask whether you wish to donate. The best thing about it is, IT'S EXTREMELY CHEAP. For only 2.80 USD/EUR per month, you can feed a person for seven days straight. And for only 40 cents, you can donate one meal, which is worth more than gold to those who are dying from hunger. 20 EUR/USD, for those who can afford, means donating 50 meals to those in need. I absolutely understand we're all going through difficulties and troubles during these very turbulent times, but I firmly believe it is our civil duty to be compassionate and help those who need us the most. It is one time where we can actually make a difference and help the way we would want others to help us if the tables were turned. Additionally, the UN will show you the photo of the person you helped in particular just to prove how much your donation means. Yemen is currently not listed in the application as the UN was forced to stop food supplying due to all the conflicts, but very soon, the situation will be resolved and Yemen will be back on the list. In the meantime, you can help feed the starving children in all the countries hit by food and COVID-19 crisis. I am sorry for this very long article, I am just hoping that there are a lot of good people in this world who are willing to help. Even if one person from this website decides to donate as little as 40 cents, I will consider it a success. Thank you very much, and may God, or whichever Deity you put your faith in, bless you

  22. This is a difficult topic for me, as I've been a victim of discrimination and understand the need for people to get taken to task on the unacceptable things they say, believe and/or do. Though I'm always extremely wary when actions appear to be motivated solely by sadism and the need to destroy an individual. It appears certain groups have weaponized cancelling people and I have a hard time believing in the altruistic motivations that certain groups claim to have. Power is intoxicating for any human being; regardless of the individual. As a lot of the groups who have organized campaigns to 'cancel' someone have often been underrepresented, voiceless, and powerless in the past, I worry that the sudden societal influence and clout that these once systemically oppressed individuals have gained has changed their motivations from an egalitarian agenda to vengeance. Which brings me to my main point. If this is the case, is vengeance justified? Should people who currently hold or once held archaic views be destroyed? Is it justified? Is there a way to balance holding people accountable without the destruction of their personal and professional lives? And do you participate in the culture of cancelling individuals? What do YOU think?
  23. Panic! at the Disco Brendon Urie put Donald Trump on blast for using "High Hopes" at a campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona. Urie blasted a scathing Tweet demanding Trump cease and desist. “Dear Trump Campaign,” he wrote. “**** you. You’re not invited. Stop playing my song. No thanks, Brendon Urie, Panic! At The Disco & company.” In a second Tweet, Urie linked to a voter registration charity website. “Donald Trump represents nothing we stand for. The highest hope we have is voting this monster out in November. Please do your part.” Thoughts on Urie's Tweet to Trump? Related:
