Charli XCX's new quarantine-themed album, How I'm Feeling Now, debuts at #111. Naturally, stan Twitter went in, dragging Charli. Personally, I think it's unfair to throw shade. Charli made the album rollout a very engaging and exciting campaign for fans to participate in. However I'll be honest, I didn't love the music so much. There were a couple of gems, like "pink diamond' and "party 4 u," but I did find myself grimacing at some of the tracks. Did YOU like HIFN?

Charli XCX wasn't just sitting at home, twiddling her thumbs, waiting for the pandemic to settle down so she can get out to the recording studio and work on music. She's using the tools she has at her finger tips and created a body of work that reflects the times. It's titled 'How I'm Feeling Now' and is officially out. Take a moment to digest the new tunes and comment as you listen. Listen on Apple Music or Spotify.

Despite not appearing on the Hot 100. It actually peaked at #10 on the bubbling under the hot 100. Which loosely stands as 110 in real chart statistics. It took 3 years. But it's officially been certified gold by the RIAA. Oddly it was one of four songs the people recognized on her opening slot of the reputation stadium tour. The others were Fancy, Boom clap and I love it. People didn't know the rest of her set list. And more people were there for Camila anyway besides Taylor swift. I felt bad. And honestly I felt Charki is way out of place especially given that she's not really mainstream at all. Which I was right as she has come out and said that tour was great for business but not for Charli as an artist. As she's more comfortable performing in clubs and theaters.

Indie dance pop queen Charli XCX dropped her brand new studio album which she announced 39 days ago. Recorded completely in quarantine, isolation and by herself. How I'm feeling now is out now. No collaborations obviously. It's just a solo charli XCX. Which is rare. A solo albumm with no collaborations. This is her first since the US version of Sucker which had no Rita Ora on The track "doing it". It was only changed to match the UK version of the album. Which is rare as labels still like to give exclusives to international digital markets.
