  1. BLACKPINK released a documentary on Netflix titled BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky. It's out now! It features exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose. Have any of you seen it, Exhale? Related:
  2. Ryan Tedder worked on Ariana Grande's forthcoming sixth studio album. He perviously collaborated with Ariana on My Everything track, "Why Try." Tedder is responsible for a bunch of seriously massive hits, including Beyonce's "Halo," "Remedy" by Adele, "Bet You Wanna" by BLACKPINK and Cardi B.... to be honest there's so many. Tedder can be very hit or miss when it comes to crafting music, but I personally love almost everything he makes. I'm excited to hear what Ariana and he cooked up. Thoughts, Exhale? Are you here for this collab? Related:
  3. BLACKPINK just released their new record The Album, but band member Rosé is already setting her sights on solo stuff. She told fans she's already recorded a few songs and that she hasn't selected a title for the solo album/EP. I was kind of surprised how candid she was about releasing solo material. Is this the beginning of the end for BP? Thoughts?! Related:
  4. I wouldn’t mind if it’s the new single or 'Love To Hate Me' PRETTY SAVAGE LOVESICK GIRLS
  5. For some reason unknown to everyone who has at least 1% of their brain functioning, Korean GP lost their minds over Jennie's scene in Lovesick girls where she's acting as a nurse. The media slandered YG and her for sexualizing nurses - It's worth mentioning that Jennie wore a knee-long dress and is literally just sitting with her legs crossed in a chair as she's scribbling on paper. This scene is no longer available in the M/V because YG entertainment decided to remove the scene due to the slander. On the other hand, South Korea has a huge problem of nurses being over-sexualized where many sexual attacks on nurses have been recorded (patients grabbing their *****, etc.) However, I don't think Jennie should be the one to suffer for decades of over-sexualizing a profession, moreover because she was probably the only decent one who portrayed nurses in their actual uniforms. Here's the compariso: What say you Exhale, did S. Korea turn into a bunch of Karens?
  6. BLACKPINK's new album album, The Album, has officially arrived. It features collaborations with Selena Gomez and Cardi B. I haven't had a chance to full sink my teeth into it yet, but from what I've heard thus far its a bunch of bops They also released a music video for "Lovesick Girls." Thoughts, Exhale?! Related:
  7. Cardi B didn't initially care to promote her new BLACKPINK collab "Bet You Wanna" because BLACKPINK's fanbase, The Blinks, apparently disrespected Cardi before and after the song came out. In now-deleted Tweets, she said: Looks like she had a change of heart and started promoting it any way Stream "Bet You Wanna" here:
  8. Blackpink gives a shout out to Britneys iconic 2002 movie Crossroads in their new music video lovesick girls. In the scene above they dance infront of the title of the movie and top down Cadillac, similar to the one Britney drove in the 2002s blockbuster hit. In the very scene you can see the girls strutting Britneys signature 'now watch me' move from her slave for you video. I Stan some pretty savages honoring the queen Stream lovesick girls for shinier healthier hair
  9. BLACKPINK and Cardi B team up for a new song together titled "Bet You Wanna." Cardi posted the explicit version Thoughts, Exhale?!
  10. BTS' "Dynamite" returns to No. 1 for a 3rd non-consecutive week; meanwhile, Justin Bieber's latest single "Holy" featuring Chance the Rapper debuts at No.3. Justin previously said No. 2 was for losers. Can't imagine how he feels now with a No.3 debut, which is still a pretty strong one. "Dynamite" was No. 2 last week on the chart. It has overtaken "Hawái" by Colombian star Maluma to be the No.1 song on this new chart created by Billboard just last week, with the help of 67.4 million streams (down from 70.9 million the previous week) and 18,000 sold (up from 15,000) in territories outside the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 17. It is currently still No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100. Chart rankings are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts' calculations. Earlier: Many have predicted the song to free-fall in the 2nd week after getting a fan-fueled No.1 in its first week on the chart. "WAP" was almost certain to return to its No.1 spot. The record of the biggest fall from #1 debut is currently held by 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj for their single "Trollz". However, the band manages to stay atop the chart for a second consecutive week with the aid of 2 new remixes and VMA performance. This extends the record of #1 by an international group, and makes "Dynamite" the first No.1 debut by a group to remain at #1 in its 2nd week this century and the only song in the past 4 years to sell 180k digital downloads in its first 2 weeks. Also noteworthy is that Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are the only two women in the Top 10. We need some more female power to rule the charts ASAP. BLACKPINK earns their highest debut on the chart with the Selena Gomez collaboration "Ice Cream" (No. 13). The rest of the Top 10 this week is as follows: #1 (=). "Dynamite", BTS [2 weeks at No.1] #2 (=). "WAP", Cardi B feat. Megan Thee Stallion [2 weeks at No. 1] #3 (=). "Laugh Now Cry Later", Drake feat. Lil Durk #4 (=). "ROCKSTAR" DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch [7 weeks at No.1] #5 (=). "Blinding Lights", The Weeknd [4 weeks at No.1] #6 (+1). "Watermelon Sugar", Harry Styles [1 week at No. 1] #7 (-1). "WHATS POPPIN", Jack Harlow feat. DaBaby, Tory Lanez & Lil Wayne #8 (+4). "Mood", 24kGoldn feat. iann dior #9 (=). "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)", Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo #10 (=). "Before You Go", Lewis Capaldi #13 (new). "Ice Cream", BLACKPINK & Selena Gomez This marks the biggest digital sales in a week's timeframe since Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" in 2017. According to Billboard, the total sales number adds up to 300K after including the physical copies sold on their website. This is BTS' first Hot 100 No.1. They become the first international band in history to debut at #1 on the Hot 100. The rest of the Top 10 this week is as follows: #1 (new). "Dynamite", BTS #2 (-1). "WAP", Cardi B feat. Megan Thee Stallion #3 (-1). "Laugh Now Cry Later", Drake feat. Lil Durk #4 (-1). "ROCKSTAR" DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch #5 (-1). "Blinding Lights", The Weeknd #6 (-1). "WHATS POPPIN", Jack Harlow feat. DaBaby, Tory Lanez & Lil Wayne #7 (=). "Watermelon Sugar", Harry Styles #8 (=). "ROSES", SAINt JHN #9 (=). "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)", Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo #10 (+2). "Before You Go", Lewis Capaldi If that's not enough of big news, the song has also sold over 500k units in the US. Another record: "Circles" by Post Malone (currently at #16) is the 1st song in the chart's history to spend its entire first year within Top 20. UPDATE (Aug 24): All 4 versions of "Dynamite" now occupy the Top 4 positions of iTunes Chart in US. There's also prediction that this song will sell at least 200k - 250k copies, the most in a week since Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" in 2017. After breaking Spotify first-day record and YouTube 24-hour record, BTS will likely unseat Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion from the #1 position on Billboard Hot 100 with the largest sales week in 2020. They are also releasing 2 extra remixes to boost the sales number to another height. Related:

  12. Ariana Grande co-wrote BLACKPINK's new song with Selena Gomez, "Ice Cream," out August 28th. She posted the announcement as an Insta-story and said: "proud of the squad and so excited for this," she wrote. "So much love for this team and these ladies." Ariana co-wrote "Ice Cream" alongside frequent collaborators Tommy Brown, Victoria Monet and Official Mr.Franks. They worked with Ariana on Thank U, Next. Wonder if Ari gave BP and Selena a TU,N reject It's gonna smash though I just know it. But... why didn't Ari sing on it Related:

  18. #LadyGaga just released an animated lyric video for Sour Candy. The animation its pretty nice, it resemble some type of alien fairies exploring #Chromatica word. Do you like the video? Is Sour Candy the next official single?...
  19. this supposed to be a lyric video so why in hell do we need a magnifying glass to read the lyrics
  20. ‘Sour Candy’ smashes existing streaming records Upon the release on Thursday, BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga’s ‘Sour Candy’ reportedly “shattered” streaming records, as per Forbes. It “debuted” on Spotify at the sixth spot in the Global streams and 12th in the United States with over 3.67 million and 757,000 streams, respectively. The reports then added that the release “granted” the K-pop group the “biggest debut” for a single track in the history of Spotify. Not to mention, ‘Sour Candy’ had reportedly reached the top spot on iTunes in 52 countries. Despite its release without an official music video, the audio-video reportedly “performed exceptionally” on YouTube. As stated, it reached over 21.8 million views within its first 24 hours. The figures also reportedly allowed BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga to break the YouTube record for the “biggest debut” for an all-female collaboration. Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey’s ‘Don’t Call Me Angel’ formerly held the record on the platform, the reports added. Source
  21. Lady Gaga's new music video for "Rain On Me," featuring Ariana Grande, is out now! The video is a total serve. Gaga suits up as a '90s-punk pop rain warrior. In some scenes she's literally pulling daggers out of herself - a metaphor for past trauma - elsewhere she's singing while rain pours down over her face. Ariana is a true pop star, but this is the first instance where she really leaned into the Gaga effect. It's the best pop visual of the year imo. Thoughts? In her recent interview with Paper, Gaga opened up about the collab. Here's an excerpt: Chromatica drops May 29th. Related:
