  1. The Billboard Music Awards happened on Wednesday just FYI. It appears most people had no clue, because the numbers don't lie. According to The Wrap, the show fell 62% from last year's show in their 18-49 demographic, and 55% overall. The show received a 0.8 rating and 3.6 million viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen data. By comparison, 2019's show had a 2.1 rating and 8.019 million viewers overall. Another one in the casket. I didn't even watch it and I own a music community smh It doesn't help that they had to postpone from May until now + everything going on with the pandemic. All the awards were for songs that feel so ancient now. Did YOU watch the BBMAs? Related:
  2. The Billboard Music Awards went down today (October 14) at 5 pm PT FYI. Below are a few of the performances + the list of winners:
  3. The VMAs already weren't what they used to be, but this year will be exceptionally different. The VMAs will indeed take place admits the global pandemic. New York governor Andrew Cuomo announced the big news: the show will take place on Sunday, August 30, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Cuomo says it will have “limited or no audience present.” The BET Awards were digital, and everything looked pretty great. The performances looked like music videos. Thoughts? Are you excited for the VMAs?
  4. Megan Thee Stallion performed at the BET Awards tonight, and it was one for the books. Because of COVID, artists are dreaming up innovative ways to virtually perform. Megan cooked up something brilliant for her new song "Girls in the Hood" and mega hit, "Savage." Megan also won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the awards show. Check it out below. How'd she do, Exhale? Related:
