  2. Absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait for the official release! @Roxxy mind if you can out this on the main page? Editt: 21 hrs from now... Edit: To celebrate the 30th Anniversary, the official video for ‘Freedom! ’90’ has been remastered to 4K. The music video was directed by David Fincher and is marked as the ultimate synthesis of fashion and music. The video features five of the era’s top supermodels – Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Tatjana Patitz. The inspiration for the video came after George spotted Peter Lindbergh’s January 1990 cover of British Vogue. Edit: A selection of George’s friends and love ones have kindly sent a series of messages to help us celebrate and mark 30 years since the release of Freedom! ’90. Read them in full below: Kate Moss “Freedom is my most favourite music video ever, I’m just gutted I wasn’t in it! I loved George and miss him madly.” Mark Ronson “Freedom ‘90 is one of the greatest, most euphoric dance songs of all time. The fact that such a deep song about shedding one’s skins and the expectations of the world with it could also be so damn funky, it’s truly a masterpiece.” Sam Smith “Today’s marks 30 years since freedom. A song that has been the soundtrack and part of an album that has guided me through my life and been a friend to me and so many of us along the way. We miss you everyday George, and although myself and the public did not know you personally, you touched our hearts with your voice and encouraged us to sing out loud. Happy birthday freedom x” Kylie Minogue “Linda! Naomi! Christy! Tatjana! CINDY!!! And a special mention for John & Mario! Plus, THE GUITAR! That’s just the start but there’s no end to my appreciation for David Fincher’s stunning video and the icon himself, GEORGE! What a song, what an icon, what a man.” Linda Evangelista “I wish George were here to mark the 30th anniversary of “Freedom ’90”. The time I spent with him as well as being part of the legacy of the music video, are two things I hold close to my heart.” Tatjana Patitz “I met George in LA in 87’ and he was such a sweetheart, almost a little shy I thought. I was a huge fan of his and when he was part of Wham I had a bit of a teenage crush. We did a cover together with Herb Ritts ( can’t remember for what though). We socialized here and there and then I was asked to be part of the Freedom video, and it was an amazing creative experience and so much fun working on it with him and David Fincher.” Mariah Carey “Happy Anniversary freedom 90! George Michael’s music continues to inspire us all.” Donatella Versace “Georges ‘Freedom’ has always had a special place in my heart. I can’t believe he released it 30 years ago. Over time people have read a lot of different things into it. The way I have always interpreted it, was this urge to finally let down all pretenses and be who you want to be and to express yourself in your own way. With what’s going on in the world today, this song takes on a deeper meaning. For our health and wellbeing, we have all had to make sacrifices: simple things that we take for granted. Necessary, but something that makes us all realize the true meaning of the word freedom.” Elton John “I was fortunate enough to be sitting in the front row of Gianni Versace’s Autumn/Winter ‘91 fashion show. Being the true flamboyant showman that he is, Gianni closed the show by cranking up George Michael’s Freedom and sending Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington down runway, linked arm in arm. The place went nuts as the girls sang along, strutting to the beat of the music. That one fashion moment exploded around the world. By literally recreating the spirit of George’s iconic music video, the House of Versace was forever linked with the cult of the Supermodel.” Dita Von Teese “As my favorite artist of all time, George Michael’s music has been the soundtrack for countless life-changes I’ve been through since I was a teenager. His music and lyrics from every era of his career continues to move me deeply. I feel so fortunate that I got to know him a bit. I miss him, and the music he would have made, very much.” Emanuele Farneti “Ah, Freedom! Such a nice energy, so much beauty in that video. This song is the symbol of a very lighthearted moment in time, and in my personal life. I remember George playing it one sweet spring night at the old Arena, Milano. One of the best concerts I have been to: a big, peaceful, colorful crowd dancing together. We missed that so much in times like this”. Olivia Palermo “I was only 4 years old when Freedom was released but it has established this truly unique position in popular culture as an anthem for self-expression, human rights, and the fashion industry. I’ve danced to it on sets, heard it played at Pride, and have referenced it in my own creative conceptualizations.” Elle Macpherson “Freedom. No better song to define what we are seeking in 2020. George, a friend and an inspiration, was ahead of his time. I can’t believe it’s been 30 years since this iconic song was released- and it’s still so relevant today. Quality sustains longevity. Beautifully art directed and performed by my incredible peers, this remains one of my favorite songs, époques, and memories of all time. We miss you George. There’s never been another like you.” Rupert Everett “When I think of freedom I remember how carefree we all felt when that song came out. It is especially moving to hear the song now – since we don’t have any freedom in the same way. That ‘free’ world has evaporated – gone up in smoke. Someone should write tedium as a follow up!” January Jones “Happy Anniversary Freedom 90! How has it been 30yrs?! This video was my favorite and is so ingrained in my memory! All I wanted was to be one of those beautiful women when I grew up, they were all so ****, confident, strong and free, everything that the song represented to me then and still does now! Love Freedom Forever.” Nick Rhodes “It is rare that a song and even more so, the combination of a song and video achieve the status of defining a period. I knew instantly when I first saw the Freedom 90 video on MTV, that it was destined to mark those times. Whilst it really does not seem possible that three decades have passed since then, the song has aged gracefully and the video is deeply rooted in our culture, it will forever remain a classic.” Sharon Stone “I won’t let you down, so please don’t give me up.” The first line of George Michael’s Freedom, says more than even Michael could have predicted in his culture changing, emblematic song. By bringing together supermodels, Cindi Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Tatjana Patitz, Michael explained both literally and figuratively that the clothes don’t make the man (or woman). “All we have to see is that I don’t belong to you and you don’t belong to me”. Never were these words more prescient that with the recent American Supreme Court appointment with only one -party participation. This was the endless battle of George Michael’s life. George Michael spent his extraordinarily talented life standing up to constant attacks while using his altruistic voice to speak out with love for love and for the right to love for everyone. As my mother says, “it is not important who you love, but that you love.” I will always carry George in my heart, because he knew that FREEDOM begins with LOVE in your heart, not just for yourself, or your ideals, but with room enough for everyone.” – Sharon Stone https://www.georgemichael.com/news/article/#news-32504
  3. Hi guys! As you know, there is an award called Vevo Certified, which is given to a vevo artist when they have a MV with over 100M views on YouTube. Britney is the 16th artist with the most vevo certified awards with 21 awards (tied with Lady Gaga and J Balvin). She is also the 24th artist overall with the most MV with 100M+ views (without features) and the 40th (with features). I think it would be cool the make her enter at least the top 10 on the vevo certified top and also the top 20 and top 30 in the other two tops. To make this we have to stream the MV, put on a playlist 4 of the mv (specially the ones in bold) and put it on repeat three times, then erase the data and start all over again, just like the K-Pop stans do. I hope all of you help, specially because now so many people are in quarentine. I have put some of the songs in bold, those songs in bold are the ones I wish we would stream the most, because they are the closest to 100M views or they haven't reached 10M views and I wish they would reach at least 10M. Thank you for reading !
