  1. Miley Cyrus' new album Plastic Hearts, is out everywhere on November 27th! As you listen to the album, please comment your thoughts in this thread! What songs do you love? Hate? Are indifferent about? Sound off! Miley previously opened up about how some of her recent recordings were destroyed by a wild fire, but how that ended up making her stronger, fiercer. Read her full note below: Related:
  2. Can someone please explain what in the world is HAPPENING here. Plastic Hearts is literal fire
  3. Miley's new album due to be released this Friday 27th November has surfaced online. Labels normally send physical copies to music stores in advance, hence the leak. Links will not be posted for obvious reasons. The album sounds fresh, promising, and very Miley! The first half of the album is superior, in my opinion. I was expecting a bit more rock but overall a very pleasant surprise from Miley! Excited to stream in on Spotify this Friday! ‘Plastic Hearts’ tracklist: 1. ‘WTF Do I Know’ - Pop-rock track; not my favourite. Sounds like sth I've heard before. Great album filler imo. 2. ‘Plastic Hearts’ - Another album filler; great vocals. 3. ‘Angels Like You’ - Amazing ballad. Her voice here is wow! Would love to see it live! 4. ‘Prisoner’ feat. Dua Lipa - Perfection. 5. ‘Gimme What I Want’ - A favourite one. The bass here hits soo good. The pre-chorus is amazing. Love the melody of the chorus. 6. ‘Night Crawling’ feat. Billy Idol - My definite favourite one! What a great pop-rock song infused with some 80's/90's sound! Wish there were more songs like this one. 7. ‘Midnight Sky’ - Perfection. 8. ‘High’ - Country ballad. Great vocals. Not a fan of it though. 9. ‘Hate Me’ - Album filler. 10. ‘Bad Karma’ feat. Joan Jett - It's a grower, I suppose. Not my favourite one though. 11. ‘Never Be Me’ - Ballad. Album filler. 12. ‘Golden G String’ - Another ballad. I guess a great way to end the album. Overall, I'm not sure how to feel about this album. She promoted it as an homage to Metallica so I was expecting a bit more rock sound. It's basically a combination of pop, rock, country, blues. As I said, I prefer the first half of the album. The album has potential though. I'd give it a 6.5/10. Related:

  6. Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa teamed up together on a new song titled "Prisoner." It's out now, as is the NSFL music video. In it, the girls wreak havoc on an unsuspecting town, nearly-locking lips, chomping cherries and rocking out at an underground party. WHEW! And the song is an earworm. Watch below. Thoughts, Exhale?! 7. This is not a drill! Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa are touring in some capacity together. It's titled the Prisoner Tour (because we've all been prisoners at home this year). Dua revealed the full poster on her Instagram stories. It's unclear what this looks like considering the pandemic is still in full-swing. Perhaps a virtual tour? They also have a song together titled "Prisoner" on Miley's forthcoming album Plastic Hearts. Stay tuned for more info... Related:
  8. If you remember 2007's Meet Miley Cyrus and 2008's Breakout and 2009's The time of our lives EP. You will recall Miley was a rock and Roll type artist in the disney machine. Then came 2010's Can't be tamed which was very EDM based on the first half and her Rock sound on the second half with a controversial image to match. Critics noted during this era she tip toed a lot cos of the final season of Hannah montana was airing, so she really couldn't back up the image she was portraying alot. But for the hip hop influenced Bangerz her first non disney project, she had the backbone to actually match the persona attached to the music. Then she got weird with with 2015's Miley Cyrus and the dead pets, the fans loved the Album, but understood unlike Bangerz, she self released it cos she knew it had no commercial appeal at all.. Inspired by the 2016 election, she grew her hair out, reunited with Liam, And all around changed into a conservative type person, and that inspired the Younger now era, she wanted to appeal to a crowd that wanted nothing to do with her. She learned it was a big mistake to alienate the audience that grew up with her. 2019 saw a fan favorite Mother's daughter and hip hop Miley back.. But that didn't come with no controversy. The line "I love you Nicki, But I listen to Cardi" Definitely caused the Barbz and Nicki and some critics to actually slam miley saying that line was unnecessary. Despite featuring RuPaul. Cattitude was dubbed the worst song of 2019 by a majority of critics that actually featured Mother's daughter on their best of 2019 tracks. Fast forward to today.. Miley is returning to her original Rock Roots with Plastic Hearts.. She confirmed this in Twitter today. Who's ready for a Rock Miley comeback???
  9. Miley Cyrus worked with iconic hit-maker, Max Martin, on her new album Plastic Hearts, out November 27th. Plastic Hearts is going to be epic I can feel it! BTW she also worked with Mark Ronson. Release "Bad Karma" Related:
  10. That belt to match Miley's CD version When was the last time you heard Selena belt like this? Mariah Carey could never Not the blonde girl next to her pretending to YEAHHHHHHHHHHH with no sound so we can hear Selena SING!
  11. Miley Cyrus released a remix of "Midnight Sky" with Stevie Nicks titled "Midnight Sky (Edge of Midnight)." It'll land on her new album Plastic Hearts, out November 27th. Thoughts, Exhale? Related:
  12. Miley Cyrus strongly disagrees with Madonna's comment she made in a now-deleted video that COVID is "the great equalizer." "I don't agree with that," Miley said. "I think that we've seen more divide recently than I have in my lifetime. Just because we're really understanding the division between race and wealth and that wealth and health can actually be the same thing. I think that's unfathomably wrong and that's why our election is so important. So no, I don't think COVID has been an equalizer in any way." I believe Madonna didn't mean it through the lens of wealth or race. I assumed she meant that humans are destroying the planet, and Mother Nature is reacting... but the way Madonna phrased it, calling it an "equalizer," was extremely brash and flippant (and quite frankly, she wanted controversy). I think Miley handled this amazingly well. I love her outspokenness. Thoughts, Exhale? Do you agree with Miley? Related:
  13. In the Just premiered episode of Just roll with it, season 2 episode 8 Shayna Pennsylvania, did nothing but drag Miley Cyrus and Hannah montana.. The 15 year old actress who plays Blair is dressed in a blond wig aka Hannah montana and named Shayna Pennsylvania and Jason Earles who played Miley's brother went with the dragging. What did they drag. How Shayna can't be faithful to anybody in a relationship and her breakup with one of the hottest family of brothers proves her wild ways Will never Calm down even when's she's 70. Licking Tanana Latte (Ariana grande's ear and jumping on Banana del Rama was the reason why that duet and Movie flopped) and she only went to her wild child ways after putting her clothes on cos those loser wannabe adults lost their idol. Jason Said as a manager, I've seen it before with a girl named Hannah something. The talk show said ironically the only people deemed rehirable are Raven Symone and Selena Gomez as well as Zendaya as they aren't known for wild ways. When Shayna asked about Lizzie McGuire. The talk show host revealed, that's not happening, it's officially cancelled. Low key revealing the Reboot is officially cancelled.
  14. Miley Cyrus is recording a Metallica cover album. Miley has really lit up her inner Rock & Roll soul, so this is actually pretty intriguing to me. "We’ve been working on a Metallica cover album and I’m here working on that. We’re so lucky to be able to continue to work on our art during all of this. At first, it felt uninspiring and now I’ve been totally ignited," she told Interview. Oh, and I didn't include this in the title, but since you clicked anyway, here's a gem: Miley said she believes she saw a UFO. Are we here for the Metallica cover album, Exhale? And do you believe her about the UFOs thing lol? Drop a line in the comments. Related:
  15. Miley Cyrus performed cover of Britney Spears' Blackout lead single, "Gimme More" as part of her MTV Unplugged backyard sessions. Loving the rock n roll vibe to it! This is a hard song to cover, too, but she nailed it. Thoughts?! Related:
  16. Miley Cyrus' new album, She Is Miley Cyrus, arrives in November, Music Week reports. Miley said this album was inspired by Britney Spears and Metallica. Andrew Watt, who produced Midnight Sky, is expected to have worked on more tracks for the record. Confirmed tracks so far: Midnight Sky High (produced by Mark Ronson) Miley was considering waiting to release until the pandemic has subsided so she can tour the new tunes - but it appears she's had a change of heart. You may recall a lot of Miley's new music leaked months ago, including a Blink 182 collab. It's unclear whether all those songs are scrapped or not. If you want to read a few other posts about Miley's new music, check these out:
  17. Miley Cyrus, surrounded by cardboard cutouts of herself, performed "Midnight Sky" on the Graham Norton show. Her vocals sound incredible here - very close to the studio version of the song. I also thought the Miley cut-out replicas was a pretty original idea. COVID sucks, but it has forced artists to think outside the box. Thoughts, Exhale? Related:
  18. Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa were spotted filming something on-set today. Exhale, let's speculate shall we Related:
  19. Miley Cyrus performed Blondie's "Heart of Glass" at her most-recent iHeartRadio appearance. It was widely well-received, so she decided to release it onto streaming services. The album included her singles We Can't Stop and Wrecking Ball, which had been released earlier that year. Track 3, SMS (Bangerz) featured Britney Spears. It was written and produced by Mike Will Made It and Marz, with additional songwriting provided by Cyrus and Sean Garrett. The track incorporates Euro house, electropop and hip hop genres. The song peaked at #10 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100. Although Miley claimed that she wanted it to be the third single off the album, thank God Adore You was ultimately the chosen one and SMS was never officially a single. Miley performed the song on her Bangerz Tour As for the album, Bangerz peaked at #1 on the BB200 in the US, and it also topped the charts of Argentina, Mexico, Canada, UK, among other countries.
  21. So since quarantine is kinda exhausting, i was playing around and mixed Britney's "Rockstar" and Miley's "Midnight Sky"... (also working on a more urban approach) enjoy your sunday only good vibes XOXO #FREEBRITNEY
  22. Update: Ok, this makes a lot more sense now Miley says the Younger Now era wasn't as dreamy as it appeared. She's obviously referring to her relationship with Liam. Earlier: It's officially a new era when Miley Cyrus trashes her previous work! Miley tends to take a dig at her earlier stuff when promoting a new record. I can't explain why she does it, she just does. For instance, she says swinging on the a wrecking ball in the "Wrecking Ball" music video was one of the most embarrassing things she's ever done. When she came out with the Younger Now album, she ran with the idea that ~this was the real her.~ Miley's singing a different tune now that "Midnight Sky" is slaying. "When I look at my career... there was really only a two-year or one-year period that doesn't really make sense. It has to do with that Younger Now, "Malibu" era. I think what happened with that, which does happen to a lot of people, and it's not to villainize the partner, but you lose yourself in someone else some times." To be honest, I can see where she's coming from. She always seems more comfortable being raunchy and wild versus pulled back. I guess I'm just not a big fan of artists casting shade on their earlier works because there are fans out there that truly love Younger Now. And now they're probably like Also, it's worth pointing out she was "over" Younger Now while "Malibu" was out. “I’m already working on the next [record]. I’m already two songs deep on the next one,” she said at the time. “I’m over this now. I want to figure out what I want to do next. Hopefully I can take some time — chill with the dogs, hand with the pigs a little bit more, take some time off. But just keep writing.” Thoughts on Miley's new stance, Exhale? Related:
  23. It's been 84 years since Miley Cyrus performed "Who Owns My Heart" at iHeartRadio Music Festival. Vocals! She also covered "Heart Of Glass" by Blondie and of course "Midnight Sky." Thoughts on Miley's performance, Exhale?
