  1. I got a notification over night that Sean's IG @seannpreston post a new photo, but of course when I clicked it this morning it was gone. Did anyone happen to view it before it was deleted? I didn't think he still used that account.
  2. Fe: Britney Is ‘Capable’ of Being a Free Woman Speaking out for the first time in years, Culotta admits in the documentary that she “didn’t then nor do I now understand what a conservatorship is.” That said, taking Britney’s age and accomplishments into consideration, her former assistant says she knows “firsthand [what Britney is] capable of.” Britney Will Speak Out One Day At the end of the documentary, Culotta says she is confident that fans will get to hear from Britney again. “I know at some point she will tell her story. I know she will,” she says. “And I am so grateful for when that point comes, that she’s able to sit down and … everything will fall into place.” Nancy Carson: Jamie Was Not as Present as Lynne Early On Nancy Carson, the talent agent who helped Britney land an Off-Broadway role in New York City as a child, recalls seeing Jamie around Britney much less than Lynne in the early 1990s. “Jamie visited from time to time and was anxious to see this time be worthwhile so that he could justify the money that it was costing to do this,” Carson says. Former Jive executive Kaiman, meanwhile, tells viewers that Lynne “supported” Britney’s music career while Jamie was seemingly absent. “Her mother would do whatever it took, personally and for the family’s sake, for Britney to be a star,” Kaiman recounts. “I never talked to her father. The only thing Jamie ever said to me was, ‘My daughter is going to be so rich she’s going to buy me a boat.’ That’s all I’m going to say about Jamie.” Kevin Tancharoen: Britney Was Never a ‘Puppet’ Kevin Tancharoen, who worked as one of Britney’s backup dancers in the prime of her career, contends in the film that she was “definitely in control of a lot of decisions” while on tour. “That idea that Britney is a puppet who just gets moved around and gets told what to do is incredibly inaccurate,” he says. “When I was involved in all of those years, we would present a lot of ideas. She would have to like them, and she would have to approve them. She was very creative. She was the one who knew what she wanted to do, and she would make that happen or her people would make that happen for her. That’s how I got hired is because she just told somebody, ‘No, I want him to do it.’ And it happened within an hour. She was the boss.” Adam Streisand: Adam Streisand, a trial lawyer who specializes in conservatorships and estates, tells viewers that he met with Britney after her 2008 hospitalization when she was looking for an attorney. “The first question I had was, ‘Does Britney have the capacity to be able to hire me? Does she have the ability to take my advice?’” he remembers asking during their meeting. “The first thing is Britney was able to make the judgment. [She said,] ‘Hey, I get what’s going on. I get that I’m not going to be able to resist this conservatorship or avoid this conservatorship.’ So, that’s a pretty sound judgment. The second thing was, she said, ‘I don’t want my father to be the conservator.’ That was her one request. She wanted a professional or somebody independent. … Britney did not want her father to be the conservator of her person, the person who makes decisions about her medical care, treatment, so on and so forth. She also didn’t want him controlling her finances.” However, the judge on the case ultimately disagreed with Streisand’s assertion that the entertainer was capable of retaining her own lawyer, so he was not brought onto the case. “I felt that was not the right decision by the judge,” Streisand says, acknowledging that the judge had seen Britney’s medical report while he had not. “I felt that based on my interactions with Britney that she was capable.” Source: Us Magazine
  3. According to this article Fe will speak at length in the New York Time's documentary. She is involved as she wants to remind people why they fell in love with Britney in the first place.

  5. On January 28, 2001, the Super Bowl XXXV halftime show took place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The show, dubbed as "The Kings of Rock and Pop" was produced by MTV and it was headlined by Aerosmith and NSYNC, with guest appearances by Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Nelly, Tremors and The Earthquake Horns. It was the first time in a Super Bowl halftime show that fans stood in the field around the stage. The show started with a sketch with Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Aerosmith and NSYNC, followed by this setlist: Bye Bye Bye (NSYNC) I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing (Aerosmith) It's Gonna Be Me (NSYNC and Tremors featuring The Earthquake Horns) Jaded (Aerosmith) Walk This Way ((Aerosmith, NSYNC, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Nelly)
  6. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMJETPqLX/ I don’t believe the stuff with the hat for one minute, so far fetched. But it does look like Sam tells her to smile in the video.... Also this is good it’s attracted a lot of engagement (posted this month) TikTok can really spread the awareness of #FreeBritney Thoughts?...
  7. Does anyone know of a downloadable fan version of Britney Jean that has Myah Marie edited out? I found some good videos on YouTube but it'd would be nice to have a full album (or as much as can be found/made) without Myah Marie as the main vocals. This is what I have seen that is pretty legit! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkNg3wEtjtqn5v-3_vXSP_pDvz4hMlwmZ
  8. Hey...so I was just watching the new episode of one of my fave TV shows at the moment on Stan, 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist', and this happened!!! I was floored haha and so surprised. It's so cool. Update: Working link https://instagram.com/stories/badboirichii/2496470440353192681?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igshid=d9it6jd9zdxr
  9. i dont know if this has been mentioned here before. but remember that glory was originally going to be very different. i think it was her teams idea. anyway Britney was not happy with this and brought on karen kwak as EP. now this is where i think it happend. her team must have been unhappy that control had been taken away. so to get back at her. they under promoted it
  10. Variety posted a rather interesting review of ‘The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears’. Firstly, those that are anxious that the documentary will be very one sided i.e pro-conservatorship and pro-team con, it’s not. So, we can breath a huge sign of relief. If anything it tips ever so slightly in the other direction. The reviewer Daniel D’addario’s overall take is a positive one (Britney matters), and suggests the documentary is fairly “balanced” in its depiction of her current situation (i.e the conservatorship). But, with regards to how the public (fans included) treat her (now and in the past), as an artist and human being, this is the biggest tragedy of all. Here are main takeaways from the article of what we can expect to see in the documentary. Spoiler: If you don’t want know anything about what’s to come, stop reading now. 1. Brit is presented as both a fascinating example of how our culture treats those we allegedly love, and as a deeply sad case of abuse. 2. Audio of Timberlake speaking crudely on the radio about Spears (no doubt about her virginity) appears on the documentary. 3. They use footage of 10 year old Britney singing “Love Can Build a Bridge” on “Star Search”. 4. Fe speaks extensively (and lovingly) about Brit the artist, and human being. She’s there to humanise Brit. 5. Hosts of a podcast (likely Britney’s Gram) discuss theories about Spears’ legal situation. 6. The documentary touches on a number of conspiracy theories that “fans” obsess over (like Britney communicating in code). Implying, the online “fandom” is as damaging to Britney the “star” as the conservatorship is. 7. The conservatorship is openly discussed, with commentary from all sides (see below), including FreeBritney fans, (FreeBritney advocate Leanne Simmons is already confirmed). 8. The conservatorship appears to be part of a lifelong pattern of “misuse” in Spears life, and career. $$$$ 9. There is an interview with a Conservatorship lawyer who had been on, and later rejoined, Spears’ father’s legal team. Likely Vivian Lee Thoreen (it couldn’t be Andrew Wallet, or could it)? 10. The documentary reproduces footage from “For The Record” of Spears yearning to be freed from the conservatorship, and being sad. 11. Brit’s silence on her situation is its own tragedy, because it would appear that the situation has caused the silence. She has a story to tell (like her contemporaries). But she is the only one who can tell it (like her contemporaries). 12. Finally, the article/documentary claims that fame was another kind of captivity for Spears, albeit one with more “liberties”. Suggesting, that before her “controlling” father, the culture that idolised her had kept her captive too. Namely, the public never saw her as a real person. Just a puppet, and someone to project on. https://variety.com/2021/tv/reviews/framing-britney-spears-review-fx-1234892912/ The 75 minute documentary airs Friday February 5th, at 10 PM, on FX and Hulu.

  14. I'm unsure if anyone has posted about this but basically, there is a LOVELY woman called Elizabeth on Instagram who started a #dearbritney hashtag and account, and she is hoping for it to pick up steam and to be eventually seen by Britney. It's basically about writing a letter to Britney but reading it in a video format. I believe Elizabeth was actually contacted by TNYP for the video to featured in the documentary! Which is amazing, and she has a strong feeling that this love and support will get to her! Even so, there's worse ways to spend your time than sending all the love, support and positive energy to our girl, so feel free to get involved! Below is her original video explaining the idea as well as her letter, and also mine (now I'm a cheesy emotional wreck, and this isn't a cute angle, I filmed this at like 1am my time so please no judgment 😂💀) I can't wait for her to feel all the love she possibly can! She deserves it!
  15. Britney Spears posted a video dancing to Madonna's "Justify My Love" wearing a red bikini top and black bottoms. It's part of an ongoing bikini series and another installment of "RED." Update: the video was deleted off her account. Related:
  16. * does anyone has this in full https://www.bilibili.com/video/av53283902/
  17. I'm struggling to understand where we can watch it over here. Does anyone know? i'd get Hulu for it but also feel like if I signed up, it might then not let me watch due to my location etc and I cba for a VPN and all that jazz. On a side note, why did Netflix not take this offer up, imagine the impact!
  18. Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me. I was playing this music game with my family and got into a bit of a debate. My brother, early 20s, keeps insisting to me that Britney isn't on the same level as Michael Jackson career wise & legend wise due to the cship really ruining what status she had. Ive been a fan since she debuted so I have seen her phenomenon days but he didn't really see them and doesn't believe she could have ever been on MJ's playing field (like he brought up how many albums Thriller sold). There used to be lists of her achievements here but over time people have stopped posting about them. Can anyone give me good examples to prove it to him? I tried to google why she's the princess of pop, achievements only she has had but everything is muddled in the results now. Even though I lived through her prime I myself can't explain how huge she really was to people who didn't get to experience it. I just remember it was an amazing time to be a fan.
  19. I haven't seen a thread on this, and I'm not one to start threads/discussions, but this has been on my mind. So, for me at least, it feels like Britney has had a very hit-or-miss history with features or collabs, especially with rappers. What are your thoughts & what have been your favorite and/or least favorite features & collabs she's had? & Who would you like to see her collab with for B10 (if there is one)? Well, for me, it's hard to pick a favorite because they've all been decent to meh, including MATM, but I guess I'll pick that because Madonna or not, it's a bop. I'm not picking a favorite rapper because I don't love any of them and they've been the worst tracks for almost every album, in my opinion. My least favorite is T.I. because that collab was so random & I don't get why they didn't just pick Iggy if she was gonna work with her anyway 2 years later. As far as who I'd like to see her collab with someday... well, there's a difference between who I want and who "they" will put her with who's hot at the moment (*cough* Pretty Girls), but I would love her & Meghan as long as it's a Blackout-ish type raunchy track and Britney is into it and doesn't just disappear when Meg comes on. That's my biggest issue with collabs, you can tell it was all done separately. It could give us a "Kimme More" moment, except it's an actual collab, not a remix, and is promoted. Although I like her, Doja Cat I feel like would be just as forced as Iggy. Cardi would be too predictable, and they technically have already done a Nicki collab with TTWE. Maybe Ashnikko? I mean, she can write AND rap/sing, so... & I don't think she'd mesh well with ANY of the male rappers. The thought of her & the Migos or DaBaby gives me Ying Yang Twins flashbacks. I don't hate Got That Boom Boom, but I couldn't give her a pass with stuff like that now. IMO she's never had good chemistry with any of the rappers. The best chemistry she could've had one with is the one where her knee was shattered. As far as singers, I wouldn't be shocked if we saw her & Ariana, as much of a mess that would be. Ari's always the go-to for these "big female" collabs. Anyway, thoughts?
  20. Hello everyone , So in honor to the anniversary of Britney's performance at the NRJ music awards in Cannes, France, back in 2004, I thought why not creating a thread about the relation she had troughout her life with my country France. The thing is it has always been interesting to me that she came to my city, Paris, so many times that it became like a routine, something that kept happening, to have her coming visit us here and it was each time a rollercoaster of emotions. Since news are slow I thought it would be cool to go back through time and remember. Also I was inspired by the thread about the NRJ Music awards by @PokemonSpears and the one with @Jordan Miller remembering his past experiences in LA. So this is going to be a list of everything existing beween France//French culture and Britney. FEEL FREE, please, to add to the list your experiences or your photos, videos etc... Maybe you guys can do the same for your own city //country (like London etc...). Here we go : -Numer 1 : Britney is actually french , ok kind of, some of her ancesters are, among many other origins of course, but just so you know some of her ancestors came from a small town called la Tremplade (Charente region, France) and left in 1670 for South Carolina (current USA). I know it's a reach but oh well -2 : She first came to Paris in may 2000 and it went like : And she gave a showcase : So someone I personaly know was in charge of her promo that day and here what she told me she remembers :" Britney was very sweet and polite. Very young, she was sitting on the floor, her back against the wall, playing gameboy all day but when the camera was on she switched immediatily to being very professional. It was impressive." -3 : in January 2002 she came back, but this time in Cannes (South of France) for the NRJ music awards where she performed Slave 4U : She went on french tv and got emotional (she starts crying at 6:00) : -4 : In march 2002 she came back for Crossroads premiere in Paris at the Grand Rex Cinema theatre. OK so this is tough for me cuz I had tickets and let my sister go with her bestfriend instead !! So she looked beyond beautiful that night but unfortunatly the crowd went wild and people broke a window of that gorgeous theatre and her security freaked out. The rest is history she had to leave immediatly and people started booing her. It was a mess and a big scandal the next day. (The worst part for me was still that I was supposed to be there and that my sister was there !!) An interview for Belgian TV from that night : She also performed Overprotected at the opening of the new Disney Studio parc at EuroDisneyland Paris : 5 : in January 2004 she came back to Cannes for the NRJ Music award where she performed Toxic. Her look that night...well this next picture will say it all : 6 : It was announced that in her next music video Britney would play a super hero-like James Bond girl in Paris. I was so excited for this. But it ended up being a green screen. 8 : In may 2004 she came back to Paris and Lyon for her Onyx Hotel tour : My first time seeing her and I remember she was so beautiful ! I couldn't believe my eyes, her beauty ! She was with Kevin she went to the Eiffel tower, went to the Louvre (though they didn't get inside ) and had a walk at the Tuilerie garden. That night she shot that infamous clip from Chaotic where she says "aaaaffel tower" and talk about having *** with Kevin. 9 : In january 2005 Britney released her Do something music video in which she's driving a car that is covered with the infamous french brand Louis Vuitton logo. Because there were no authorization Vuitton won a lawsuit and the video was banned for all of Europe. The video you see now on youtube is digitally censored, everything is pink now. 10 : She came back to Paris in november 2008 and this one is special to my heart because I had a chance to see her (not on stage but in the street!) she was again beyond beautiful as she was leaving the luxurious hotel Plaza Athénée : then she perfomed Womanizer live on TV at Star Academy : ok this is embarrassing but we actually waited for her private jet at a private airport with like 20 other fans at like midnight (the police came etc.. ) it was snowing and we got cold, we didn't see her though but that's the kind of experience you never forget. 11 : In July 2009 she came back for 3 nights in a row for the Circus tour. This is also very special to my heart for many reasons. We were a group of friends and slept there, outside the arena, the 3 nights (we had to stole sheets from a hotel nearby and take our shower with the water from the sprinklers for the grass of the stadium in the midle of the night). Not even kidding. That was so much fun !!! She premiered her brunette look the first night. She went to the Eiffel tower with her kids and I think she had a diner at the Jules Verne restaurant at the Eiffel tower : Fun fact : she went to a tanning salon that day and the owner knew my best friend. When she went there she cleaned her eye make up and threw her cotton pad to the trashcan. The owner kept it and gave it to my best friend and he still owns it to this day. I know it's totally creepy, disgusting, and a mess but hey what can you do ? I'm so sorry for that one. I took a lot of pictures and awesome videos from those 3 nights, so here are some of my personal pics : 12 : Naming her album FEMME FATALE !! (french for femme : woman and fatale : deadly) 13 : She came back to Paris in october 2011 for the Femme Fatale tour. Ok that night was very weird for me I just came back few hours before from Fort Lauderdale, my nephew was born the same morning and I was going trough a tough breakup so..well I was not really feeling so into it but oh well : Here she is having a walk in the same street as the Presidential palace (Elysée) : 14 : In july 2013 Britney released a music video called "Oh La La" (can't get anymore french than that) where she's with her kids watching The smurfs in Paris (presicely at the Garnier Opera house). 15 : In her song Work ***** she sings "Party in France ?" 16 : She recorded a song in french "Coupure éléctrique" (a coupure is a cut like if you have a "coupure " in your hand it's a cut, a scar. In this case it means an electric cut = BLACKOUT) 17 : She came back to Paris in august 2018 for the Piece of me show and had lunch in the neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Près with her ex dancer Adrien. I quickly talked to him once but didn't dare mentioning Britney. The show was nice but something was weird, plus I was with my coworkers and we had too much wine before the show started so... 18 : She posted many videos on her instagram with vintage french music but also some hindie french music. She said that she was in love with Indila song called "dernière danse" : 19 : In 2020 her painting was sold in a french gallery for 10 000 euros : That's it for the moment, but I'm sure there's more to share. So Voilà for Frenchney
  21. The New York Times published a new article about their forthcoming documentary, Framing Britney Spears. It premieres on Friday, Feb. 5, at 10 p.m. on FX and streaming on Hulu. The documentary, “Framing Britney Spears,” features interviews with key insiders, including: a lifelong family friend who traveled alongside Spears for much of her career the marketing executive who originally created Spears’s image a lawyer currently working on the conservatorship and the lawyer Spears tried to hire in the early days of the conservatorship to challenge her father Below is a copy + paste of the article: The new film, on FX and Hulu, also explores the fervent fan base that is convinced Spears should be liberated from the conservatorship, and re-examines the media’s handling of one of the biggest pop stars of all time.
