  1. Rihanna has "axed plans for her ninth album." They claim she knows it's more lucrative for her to be selling beauty products than music. "Rihanna has reportedly shelved plans for her ninth studio album to concentrate on 'becoming a beauty billionaire,'" the Daily Mail writes. "Rihanna’s ninth album is on hold indefinitely. She wants to make her millions with beauty and is planning a new skincare line to go alongside her Fenty Cosmetics range." They add: "Fans hopes for [a ninth album] will be kept on hold while Rihanna builds her beauty empire as she plots to become the next beauty billionaire. She’s realised there is more money in the beauty game than music as record sales die down and live touring faces big competition."
  2. This Thread Is To Appreciate The Pop Goodness That Is ‘S&M (Remix)’! I Was In The Car Today And Heard The Single On The Radio, I Totally Forgot How Amazing If Truly Was/Is. I Just Don’t Understand Why It’s Paid Dust, I Literally Never Hear People Talk About It. It’s Like The Most Forgotten Hit That Britney Has Created. Let’s Just Take A Look At Why This Song Should Be Paid More Attention To In The Britney - Army: It Was Britney’s 5th Number 1 On The Billboard Hot 100 (Her Only Number 1 Where She Is Credited As A Featured Artist). It Also Became Her 11th Top 10 Hit On The Hot 100 Chart. The Single Has Sold 1,500,000 (SPS) Since It’s Release. Not To Mention, It Gave Us Her Most Iconic Performance Of The Decade, Fight Me. All In All, I Feel That This Amazing Track Should Be Paid More Attention In The Army. #JusticeForSMRemix
  3. Lip Sync Battle has given us some memorable performances and some... not so memorable. Which do you think were the best and worst performances? Kate Upton doing Baby One More Time is one of the most memorable.
  4. Lately I've been thinking about some of my favorite movies featuring great performances from Black pop stars. Obviously the late, great Whitney Houston comes to mind right away. The Bodyguard, Waiting to Exhale, The Preacher's Wife. Whitney wowed us as a leading lady in The Bodyguard and her performance broke barriers at the time. Even though she faced criticism from film critics, it's safe to say some of her movies have undoubtedly stood the test of time. Mariah has been cast in some very impressive dramatic roles in Lee Daniels films Precious and The Butler. Justice For Glitter! Beyonce in Dreamgirls and The Lion King. Janet Jackson (Miss Jackson if you're nasty) in Poetic Justice Diana Ross, Janelle Monae, Aaliyah, Will Smith. The list goes on... I'm curious what some of your fave crossover performances are. Let's discuss!
  5. Here are some of the artists' singles discography playlists that I've created if you like listening singles in release order sometimes. https://music.apple.com/tr/playlist/ariana-grande-singles/pl.u-gxblvBRu5PNN2VA https://music.apple.com/tr/playlist/beyoncé-singles/pl.u-xlyNAVPukMbbZRN https://music.apple.com/tr/playlist/britney-spears-singles/pl.u-gxblMy4C5PNN2VA https://music.apple.com/tr/playlist/christina-aguilera-singles/pl.u-8aAVob9ToVBBERM https://music.apple.com/tr/playlist/lady-gaga-singles/pl.u-GgA52M6IZWJJvqG https://music.apple.com/tr/playlist/madonna-singles/pl.u-xlyNJJWCkMbbZRN https://music.apple.com/tr/playlist/rihanna-singles/pl.u-NpXmY7Wum522JMr https://music.apple.com/tr/playlist/tinashe-singles/pl.u-KVXBq5LFZNaapMj
  6. Selena Gomez's Charli XCX penned track "Same Old Love" was originally meant for Rihanna, we been knew. There's been a snippet of her demo online for years, if I'm not mistaken, but it has finally leaked in full. And I gotta say... It's really good, and I actually like it more than Selena's version. I know, I know... Why compare women? Bla, bla, bla... But I think it's a valid point of comparison. Rihanna brings much more attitude, and there's a noticeable lack of Charli XCX's vocals, which I like. I'm not really fond of overpowering background vocals. I would know as a Britney fan. Anyway, here's the full demo (not sure if I'm allowed to post it, so just remove it if it's against the rules): A certified bop.
  7. On May 22, 2011, Britney Spears was featured as a guest performance of both Rihanna's and Nicki Minaj's performances at the Billboard Music Awards. With Rihanna she performed S&M. The previous month, a remix of her single S&M had been released, and it featured Britney. Later that year, Britney would include the song on her Femme Fatale Tour in a medley with her classic hit ...Baby One More Time. After Nicki Minaj finished her performance of Super Bass, she started rapping her part from the Till the World Ends (Femme Fatale Remix) released on April 22, which also featured Ke$ha. Britney joined her onstage to perform a shortened version of her song.
  8. Rihanna is trolling us, saying she "lost" the album. WE'RE IN A PANDEMIC AND NEED SOMETHING TO HOLD ONTO. Previously, Rih opened up to British Vogue about the forthcoming album. She says it'll come out whenever she decides () and feels free to make a body of work that she sees fit. Cohesive records are so 2019 The ~release date~ The concept: Reggae-themed album: Thoughts??
  9. I'm not a huge fan of chart and streaming data, but I AM a huge proponent of girl power. This is why everyone is like, WhErE's R9 Kinda surprised about Halsey. Anyone missing?
  10. Sooo... No one is talking about Rihanna’s upcoming documentary? Or did I just missed something here? Wondering if there will be an album after release or we are just getting „Rihanna The Bussines Woman” 🤔
  11. Rihanna's Rated R. A very underrated masterpiece. The Track G4L birthed two things. The christening of The Navy name was born through this song. And a very iconic myth. Chris Brown also released Graffiti. It's one of those albums that's ill timing and very bad time for him to put out anything. Rihanna's rated R has a very iconic myth. The myth is she dragged Chris Brown and Graffiti. One of the biggest mysteries is. Rihanna can be heard Subtlety shaking a can of spray paint on the most Violent track album. It forms the basis of the percussion sound. If this is True. This also birthed The savage inside her.
  12. R9 is really never coming out. Rihanna did a live stream and of course all the comments were like WhErE iS tHe AlBuM???? She snapped and said: She spilt the tea What do y'all think about this? Did she lie
  13. We all know that badgalriri aka Rihanna decided to exchange music for make-up and we probably never get that new album 😅 , however, there is one more thing Rihanna owes us. There was a lot of rumours that Rihanna was preparing movie about herself. According to some news, her team was collecting materials for two years. I am personally from Prague and I also know they were shooting in my city while she was touring here with ANTI tour. She was riding wildly in historical tram through Prague center and they were recording it (nobody beside tourists do it - google it 😅 )The famous paparazzi from New York city Cesar (247paps) says in his podcast "The Beyond Celebrity Show" that Rihanna is actually planning to release Netflix documentary (Miss Barbadosa?) which gonna be devided in few episodes. My question is when do you think we could get something from Riri? I belive this is perfect time while people are at home. It could get her such great ratings so why the hell is she waitting?
  14. New Rihanna music! Sort of. Ri features on PARTYNEXTDOOR's new song "Believe It," out now. It's the next single off his new album PARTYMOBILE. Thoughts?
  15. On Spotify. Her collab with Calvin Harris, "This Is What You Came For," just surpassed 1 billion streams, reportedly making her now the most steamed female artist on Spotify (according to @chartdata on Twitter) It's only the 62nd song ever to do surpass a billion streams. Rih is only the second female artist who debuted in the 2000’s to have a song reach billion stream status (the other being Lady Gaga's with "Shallow"). We'll never get R9, so stream "Came For." Congrats, Rih!
  16. In 2009 Rihanna declared on Hard her reign will not let up or end. A 5 word cameo on a new track. And she's #1 and the main artist is #4 on Twitter trends. So just imagine the blow up and reactions when #R9 drops.
  17. Rihanna is offering to donate $700,000 to buy ventilators for the people of Barbados who're affected by the Coronavirus outbreak, The Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, confirms. R9 can wait. Queen of philanthropy! More celebrities need to step up. I saw people shading Britney because her IG post said she'd offer to buy diapers and groceries.
  18. Queen of receiving awards and not releasing R9. We love her anyway. “Tonight is not really about me, because the purpose is bigger than me, right?” she said during her speech. “It’s not bigger than us together, but it’s bigger than me, because my part is a very small part of the work that is being done in this world and the work that is yet to be done.” “If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that we can fix this world together. We can’t do it divided. I can’t emphasize that enough. We can’t let the desensitivity seep in,” she continued. “The ‘If it’s your problem, it’s not mine.’ ‘It’s a woman’s problem.’ ‘It’s a black people problem.’ ‘It’s a poor people problem.'” Thoughts?
  19. Taylor Swift is undoubtedly a genius at not only songwriting and creating music magic, but also at marketing her music. She's sold more singles in the US in the last ten years than anyone else. And second place, which is Eminem, doesn't even come close. 1. Taylor Swift - 75M 2. Enimem - 63M 3. Rihanna - 62M 4. Katy Perry - 61M 5. Drake - 59M 6. Maroon 5 - 50M 7. Bruno Mars - 49M 8. Glee Cast - 43M 9. Justin Bieber - 42M 10. Adele - 41M This leads me to ask... are you a Taylor hater or Lover (pun intended). Let me know what you think in the comments.

  21. I have just seen this. Sorry if AP. I remember I heard something about that few years ago but I forgot after the perfume mess Was this real? Did the label work on a collaboration between Godney and RiRi for a Work ***** remix? It sounds legit, it seems Rihanna's voice I have researching more and I have found some articles :/ I would love it to be real and I would love it to leak. Imagine if this Remix were released two or three weeks after the original WB... this **** could have save the entirely Britney Jean era!
