  1. Hi all! Apologies if I'm not posting this in the right forum but I thought this site would be a good place to show off my latest remix. Feel free to like/subscribe/comment/all of the above. Been a while since I put out music (I used to almost exclusively do Britney Spears Remixes, some of which are on my YouTube). Here's my "Rain On Me" remix. Hope you all enjoy
  2. Madonna knows Babylon. Dubs it as a nice remix of Vogue.. I knew she was going to say something. She didn't disappoint as usual. And right on time as usual. @JordanMiller @Roxxy
  3. Lady Gaga should be celebrating the release of her new album, Chromatica, but the escalating riots and looting following the unjust death of George Floyd continue to ravage the country. Gaga spoke out. "I have a lot of things to say about this, but the first thing I want to say is I’m afraid to say anything that will incite further anger, although that is precisely the emotion that’s justified. I do not wish to contribute to more violence, I wish to contribute to a solution. I am as outraged by the death of George Floyd as I have been by the deaths of exponentially too many black lives over hundreds of years that have been taken from us in this country as a result of systemic racism and the corrupt systems that support it," Gaga said. "The voices of the black community have been silenced for too long and that silence has proven deadly time and time again. And no matter what they do to protest, they are still met with no compassion by the leaders that are meant to protect them. Everyday people in America are racist, that’s a fact." "Right now is a critical time for the black community to be supported by all other communities so we can put a stop to something that is intrinsically wrong by the grace of God or whatever creator you do or do not believe in." "We have known for a long time that President Trump has failed. He holds the most powerful office in the world, yet offers nothing but ignorance and prejudice while black lives continue to be taken. We have known he is a fool, and a racist, since he took office. He is fueling a system that is already rooted in racism, and racist activity, and we can all see what is happening." "It’s time for a change." "I urge people to speak gently to each other, speak with passion, inspiration, and impress the importance of this issue until the systems that keep us sick die, instead of people we love. We MUST show our love for the black community. As a white, privileged woman, I take an oath to stand by that. We haven’t, as a privileged community, done enough to fight racism and stand up for those people who are being killed by it." "This isn’t justice. This is an epic tragedy that defines our country and has for a long time. I am sad. I am angry. And I will use the words that I can find to try to communicate what needs to change in as an effective and non-violent way as possible for me." Related:
  4. This is the moment I knew I was done with being a GaGa stan. This performance was so annoying to me. Galloping around the stage like a pickle getting electrocuted during their tribute performance, and then yelling at the crowd? “Bayyybayyy.” No ma’am. No sir. **slide 2 has the exact moment I’m referring to** A mess. ****UPDATE: I want to clarify. After the fame monster I was an UBER stan of Lady Gaga. I mean, I almost left Britney for her after bad romance. But then BTW came out and that weird f_cking video, and she came to the Grammys in an egg, then she sold the album for 99cents, then we allrealized BTW sounded like Madonna, then she released more video from BTW which were weird, then she went away, then applause came out which I thought was weird and the video was tacky, and THEN this moment at The Rolling Stones tribute concert happened. It was this moment that it allclicked and I said “ya know, I really don’tenjoy her anymore.” So it was everythingleading up to this moment. She was on a steady decline in my eyes and THEN seeing this performance and hearing her scream at us, I checked out immediately after. ☺️
  5. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2438587479771856&id=1400336190263662&sfnsn=mo The reviews for Chromatica are mostly positive. But each one seems to mention that Madonna comparision. Like the Facebook post said. They just can't leave Gaga alone without mentioning Madonna. Which didn't happen during The cheek to cheek era, joanne or a star is born eras. But everytime she did a dance album. Madonna was always mentioned in the reviews. This is unusual as Madonna was never attached in reviews for Kylie minogue, Geri Halliwell, or any other dance female. I guess for Gaga it will always be hard to escape Madonna's shadow when she does dance music in the eyes of the press. @Roxxy @JordanMiller
  6. Lady Gaga was dragged for saying how happy she was that Chromatica was out. People felt like it was insensitive considering the country is in mourning over a racially charged murder by police officers to George Floyd, who unjustly died after an office kneeled on his neck and suffocated him. Gaga Tweeted about Floyd amidst the Chromatica rollout on Thursday, but that wasn't enough apparently. She decided to delay the Chromatica listening party from today to a later date. Gaga couldn't have predicted such a terrible tragedy would take place during her album release. It's a tough spot to be in. But, she's allowed to feel happy about her project AND sad about Floyd all at the same time. People are complex creatures and can feel different emotions simultaneously. What are your thoughts? 7. https://www.madonnarama.com/posts-en/2011/05/10/lady-gagas-creative-director-admits-ripping-off-madonna/ LaurieAnn Gibson's the original creative director of Lady Gaga. Finally admits that Madonna has every right to be bitter. As she was the one that copied Madonna's Blonde Ambition tour to give gaga's Fans their own Madonna experience. She admitted this in 2011 in an LA Times interview. How come it's resurfacing is beyond me.. @JordanMiller @Roxxy Now we Know why before tour preparations for the Born this way ball happened why she was fired..
  8. The little monsters are mad at slant magazine for their two and a half star review of Chromatica. Sadly it has led to Little monsters to basically discover and reveal that they Praised Madame X by Madonna and as you see in the comments it has brought back the stan war. But like one Madonna fan said. This isn't Madonna's fault that Slant don't see it for Chromatica so quit bring up Madonna when nobody did. There is also "empty threats" of reporting the tweet saying it's offensive and culturally insensitive to the little monsters. Let me just say this. You guys can handle a few bad reviews. It won't hurt her. Just listen to the music.
  9. Lady Gaga's 2016 Album 'Joanne'. Her first mature Singer songwriter material is officially declared by Billboard as a lost masterpiece in her catalog. Though they agree it's underrated. But Billboard says that title officially belongs to 2013's Overproduced ARTPOP. Which gaga told Zane Lowe in her Apple music interview that the 2013 album was ahead of it's time and that while she was ready, the rest of the world wasn't. But she states with 2020's Chromatica that the world is ready this time. Anyway while Billboard credits Joanne for allowing Kesha, Miley Cyrus and even Katy Perry to do personal pop. They all didn't have the reception that they hoped for. With the Exception of Rainbow by Kesha besides a lack of radio support the album did sell well and was a critical fav of 2017 in music. While Kesha returned to her bratty pop and Miley is doing a rock album. Gaga returning to her roots while a good thing. It does make Joanne feel like a lost masterpiece that never could fully deliver what the artist hoped for.

  12. "Rain On Me" acapella + "Feel Special" instrumental So this popped into my recommended videos on YouTube. I mean, for obvious reasons... TWICE are my favorite K-Pop group, and "Feel Special" is one of my favorite K-Pop songs EVER. And I kid you not when I say that the "Feel Special" instrumental works TOO well with "Rain On Me". The second chorus is HEAVEN!!!
  13. It's no secret. Ariana is a bigger pop star than Lady Gaga today. Some blogs are suggesting that Rain on me is only huge cos of Ariana and not lady gaga. They mostly expect Chromatica to perform like Bionic.. They state at 34. She went back to the outlandish outfits and make up and theatrical antics. Bottom line is In many articles. Lady gaga's image is basically a revamped version of her original image. Many think it might not work given most modern day musicians just wear baggy sweats and a messy t shirt like a normal teenager. Messed up hair and everything. They also feel the image of gaga might work in 2010. But in 2020. It's definitely dated..
  14. We'll have Chromatica in just a few days! Here are the track lengths: ‘Chromatica I’ - 01:00 'Alice' - 02:57 'Stupid Love' - 03:13 ‘Rain On Me’ (with Ariana Grande) - 03:02 ‘Free Woman’ - 03:11 ‘Fun Tonight’ - 02:53 ‘Chromatica II’ - 00:41 ‘911’ - 02:52 ‘Plastic Doll’ - 03:41 ‘Sour Candy’ (with BLACKPINK) - 02:37 ‘Enigma’ - 02:59 ‘Replay’ - 03:06 ‘Chromatica III’ - 00:27 ‘Sine From Above’ (with Elton John) 04:04 ‘1,000 Doves’ - 03:35 ‘Babylon’ - 02:41 Related:
  15. Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande blessed the world with a dance floor banger, and even though the dance parties are happening at home right now, it's been well-received. ISSA BOP, as the kids say. It looks like millions of people agree with me, because the numbers don't lie. "Rain On Me" had the biggest first-day in streams in 2020 thus far. According to Chart Data on Twitter, it also breaks the record for biggest single day streams for an all-female collaboration in Spotify herstory. Are you stanning "Rain On Me," Exhale? Related:
  16. Stream Rain on Me (Which is now apparently about lactation)
  17. Lady Gaga sat down with Apple Music's Zane Lowe for an interview about her new album, Chromatica, out May 29. She says it's a dance record again. Gaga also talks about Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande in the full interview. We did it kids. Related:
  18. The answer is yes. Rain On Me apparently samples a song called All This Love That I’m Giving by Gwen McCrae. But when the best drops in the chorus (after the already iconic and anthemic facial line Rain. On. Me.), it sounds a lot like Music Sounds Better With You by Stardust, a late 90’s dance hit that samples a different song Fate by Chaka Khan. Given Lady Gaga’s previous history with creating songs in a “reductive” manner, could she be up to her old tricks again? Can any of you hear the similarity? For the record, I don’t think BTW and Express Yourself sound that alike
  19. Lady Gaga's new music video for "Rain On Me," featuring Ariana Grande, is out now! The video is a total serve. Gaga suits up as a '90s-punk pop rain warrior. In some scenes she's literally pulling daggers out of herself - a metaphor for past trauma - elsewhere she's singing while rain pours down over her face. Ariana is a true pop star, but this is the first instance where she really leaned into the Gaga effect. It's the best pop visual of the year imo. Thoughts? In her recent interview with Paper, Gaga opened up about the collab. Here's an excerpt: Chromatica drops May 29th. Related:
  20. It pains me to continue writing posts like these, but the Chromatica leaks continue to spill onto the Internet. One of the new cuts, "Free Woman," appeared online today in-full. It's got a bit of an '80s feel to it – a mid-tempo beat pulsates behind the infectious chorus. You may recall Gaga's iconic line, "I'm a free b----, baby." Now she's a free woman. A bit of Gaga's Ariana Grande collab leaked last month. Of course I can't point you in the right direction for either, but they're out there. May 29th can't come soon enough.
  21. Mother Monster changes the face of pop music with her sophomore album. Lady Gaga released Born This Way on May 23, 2011. Back in late 2010, Lady Gaga told a crowd of screaming fans in Gdsank, Poland that her second studio album, Born This Way, would be “the greatest album of this decade.” Almost 10 years later, the declaration still rings true. The blockbuster LP changed up the game for Mother Monster, elevating her off kilter pop contributions to new degrees of weird cool. In the process, it turned off a few folks, but regardless of whether you championed her creativity or turned your nose at the spectacle, it was certainly an era worth watching. For BreatheHeavy’s latest installment of This Day In Pop, we’re revisiting Gaga’s mega-release as she works steadily on her sixth studio album. Check out the full story on Exhale's Pop Anniversaries Calendar! Exhale, what's your favorite song off Born This Way?
