  1. A woman named Charlotte Awbery is becoming Internet famous after one of her covers of Gaga's "Shallow" started making the rounds. She's actually REALLY impressive. There can be 100 people in a room and 99 of them don't believe in you, but all it takes is one and it just changes your whole life.
  2. Saw this data on Twitter and thought it was super interesting. It breaks down average ticket prices per Vegas resident, who has the most expensive/cheapest ticket sold and more. Who the hell got the $6 Gaga ticket(!!!).
  3. Lil Nas X is a bit of a music marketing genius. He's asking Gaga to appear on a new song of his. Are we here for this? If she did... for the gays... the power that that has.
  4. Lady Gaga's new song "Stupid Love" is getting promoted and listened to whether she likes it or not.
  5. Gaga performed at Super Saturday in Miami ahead of the Super Bowl, and told the crowd she hopes JLo and Shakira sing live. WELP, they didn't completely lol but still it was one of the best halftime shows in recent history.
  6. Can we just talk about Britney's version of Telephone? We only got these crappy *** full on autotuned robot vocals, so we cant really enjoy it But it would be amazing if Britney was featured on with Gaga! the vocals, the music video... This version has her raw vocals mixed with the robotic demo track:
  7. This is not a drill. LOOK UP! That’s my wig in orbit after watching Lady Gaga’s new promotional video for Haus Laboratories, the pop star’s beauty brand. Gaga serves fierce lewks alongside half-a-dozen edgy models rocking wild Haus makeup. There’s so much to absorb here, but it’s important to note the commercial is soundtracked to production created by Bloodpop, Boys Noize and Tchami. Gaga is collaborating with Bloodpop on her sixth studio album, so this could very well be featured on the forthcoming record. Or, it was left on the cutting room floor and re-purposed for this advertisement. If this is what they chose to leave off the album, then we’re in for a real treat, because it hits hard. “The last thing the world needs is another beauty brand,” Gaga says in the vid. “But that’s too bad. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but at Haus Laboratories, we say beauty is how you see yourself. Your glam. Your expression. Your artistry.” Gaga also penned a note on social media. “I remember watching my mother put her makeup on every morning, basking in the glow of her power to put on her bravest face as the hard working woman she was,” she wrote on Instagram. “I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true. It was then that I invented Lady Gaga. I found the superhero within me by looking in the mirror and seeing who I wanted to be.”
  8. THE MILKSHAKE MIGHT BRING ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD, BUT DIRTY ICE CREAM KEEPS THEM AWAY. Lady Gaga has an unreleased track in every flavor, but “Dirty Ice Cream” is one of her tastiest. The campy pop tune made its debut on the singer’s old MySpace (RIP) page in 2007, and later made appearances in some of Gaga’s live performances. Framing its origin in the era of the MySpace days might make it feel like a relic, but more than a decade later “Dirty Ice Cream” stands the test of time. Though Mother Monster never officially released it (a crime I tell you!), she knew it contained the essential ingredients that a masterful pop tune demands. Gaga ultimately penned and released “Telephone” (though it almost went to Britney Spears), a song about how annoying guys can be / not having the time of day to deal with their neediness, but before releasing that mega-tune, Gaga was already pissed. She was primed and aggravated by men, and it was churned out in the form of “Dirty Ice Cream.” She acted on impulse, they satisfied a craving, then she discarded them in the bin with the bowl and spoon. 9. AH, LOVE AND RAINBOWS ARE IN THE AIR AND PRIDE IS HERE. Every year, the LGBTQ community comes together in the month of June to rally, and this year brimming with colorful displays of equality. It’s an opportunity to celebrate diversity and inclusion. It’s a moment to come together in a safe space and feel seen, liberated, and loved. Pride parades and festivals are taking place all over the world and it’s a pretty incredible thing to see as someone who belongs to the LGBTQ community myself. It’s a celebration and movement that gets larger with each passing year. Of course, no pride festival is complete without music pulsating up and down the streets. I mean, did pride even happen if you didn’t hear “Born This Way” at least once? Whether it’s Madonna’s “Material Girl” or Britney’s “Work *****” blasting at your local gay bar or club, one thing is for sure – there is a lineup of pop legends that resonate with the gay community. Have you ever wondered what life is about? You could search the world and never figure it out. I have spent years wondering why so many LGBTQ people gravitate towards the same pop divas. While, I want to avoid making vast generalizations here – as obviously everyone has their own unique taste, there is no denying a common thread here that ties the LGBTQ together with some of these pop music legends. Lots of LGBTQ people make-up the core audience for the likes of Madonna, Britney, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Cher, Rihanna, Kylie, Mariah, Taylor Swift and many others. Why is that? And what do most of these reigning women have in common with the LGBTQ community, even if many of them are straight women? To answer that we will need to peel a very subjective, unscientific onion. I could probably write an entire book trying to dissect this. But for now, let’s keep it high level. 10. WILL LADY GAGA DETHRONE “OLD TOWN ROAD?” If anyone can do it… it’s her. There’s a rumor circulating the web right now claiming Lady Gaga has plans to release a new single on Friday. According to a fan on Gaga Daily, they had a chat with someone from Sirius XM who claims she’s releasing on Friday (they provided receipts). The fan claims they originally asked the rep from Sirius whether or not Gaga’s recent, invite-only concert at the Apollo, which celebrated the satellite-radio merger of SiriusXM and Pandora, would be available to stream, and was told while it won’t be, expect a new single. Related: Lady Gaga Extending Las Vegas Residency ‘Enigma’ Two More Years; New Dates Added Naturally, this news traveled fast. Most are speculating that it’s simply untrue and that the Sirius rep is wrong. Others are wondering if it’s a big misunderstanding – perhaps the audio from her Apollo concert will be made available to stream come Friday. It’s unlikely a new single from Gaga will arrive any time soon. There’s buzz she’s waiting to release in the fourth quarter. The “Always Remember Us This Way” singer has been hard at work on her sixth studio album for a minute. It could feature collaborations from Mark Ronson, Diplo, RedOne, DJ White Shadow and more. Are your fingers crossed for a new Gaga song?
  11. RELIVE POP MUSIC GREATNESS IN HD. YouTube teamed up with Universal Music Group to replace low quality (by today’s standards) music videos with remastered versions. Interestingly, the originals were not filmed in HD, however there is a noticeable difference in the new uploads, which replaces the grainy renditions with clearer ones – comments, views etc will remain. You’ll know it’s remastered because the description will include “Remastered in HD!” Though only a hundred or so videos have been uploaded, YouTube hopes to replace more than a thousand videos by the end of 2020. The current list includes videos from Lady Gaga (“Bad Romance,” “Just Dance,” “Poker Face”), the Spice Girls (“Wannabe” “Say You’ll Be There”), Gwen Stefani (“Hollaback Girl,” “Cool,” “4 In The Morning”) and Janet Jackson (“Control,” “What Have You Done For Me Lately,” “When I Think Of You”). Head over to YouTube and begin revisiting some of the classics.
  12. Hi guys, I would like to ask for your help if there's anyone here that can verify this list if it's true... Best selling female artists of all time... 13. https://hornetapp.com/stories/the-entertainer-and-the-artist-the-future-of-lady-Gaga/ saw this shared by a friend in facebook so i reckon it may be worthwhile to discuss it here (let me know though if AP) author made interesting points in explaining how Madonna was able to overshadow Cindy Lauper, the same with Britney to Xtina, and now with Katy to Gaga. To summarize it, the entertainers (Madge and Britney) tend to have longer careers and bigger popularity than the artists (Cindy, Xtina) because less is expected of them, at least in terms of talent and delivery. While those that are labeled as serious artists had high expectations on them (to which Gaga categorizes herself to) that's why when they don't deliver the expectations, they fail. i don't understand though why he has to leave out Janet, Beyonce and Rihanna in a different category, but I guess that's a result of stereotype - that pop is more associated with white acts as r&b is to black. Sounds a little racist, but i guess that does exist in the system.
  14. I stumbled across this and apparently either Britney or Jennifer Lopez were the contenders for the SuperBowl, however... Gaga BOUGHT HER WAY IN and i honestly believe it considering she's been dead in the music world since 2013 and needs all the help she can get what do you think?
