  1. A webstore for multimedia listed the CD with its alleged album cover art and quickly took it down. However, it's 2020 and many people are at home and were quick to notice it. It's worth noting that an insider claimed the album would NOT have any text on it and that its placeholder will be referenced in the actual cover art. With this alleged cover art, it seems to be true. Update: It's real! Lady Gaga confirmed it herself - she must have rush-released the announcement due to the leak. Do you like it?! BH's April Fool's gag:
  2. Can you imagine being someone who hated on a woman who's trying to make the world a better place? I have to laugh. At least he apologized. Previous Tweet:
  3. Pop emergency! Madonna followed Lady Gaga on Instagram. The two pop queens buried the hatchet some time ago, but the follow is new. There's speculation Madonna will partake in Gaga's rumored COVID-19 fundraiser and that's what sparked the follow. POP IS SAVED, COVID-19 CURED.
  4. Remember when Britney went on Ellen to announce that she had an announcement. Gaga must've felt inspired, because when Jimmy Fallon called her this week to chat, Gaga said she needed to reschedule She asked Fallon to call her back on Friday and she'll announce something on Monday. At least... that's what I think happened, the video series is super confusing. Expect an announcement Monday. Rumor has it is' not music-related, rather something about COVID-19. Pandemica is coming
  5. Ava Max just released a new music video for "Kings and Queens." She also revealed who some of her influences growing up were. They include Britney, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey. She also says some artists that inspire her sound today include Mimi, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. No mention of Gaga anywhere. Thoughts?
  6. OMGGGG. It's flawless! Swipe for the tracklist! Thoughts?! Happy April Fool's
  7. Producer RedOne says in a new interview he was *this close* to working with Madonna. The Queen of Pop hit him up to work on new tunes together, but he believes she changed her mind (no seas cortes) because Madonna was worried about people ripping her apart for working with ~Gaga's producer~. Interviewer: "What is your dream collaboration that never happened?" RedOne: "It's Madonna and she reached out to me to work with her but then when i said yes she changed her mind." Interviewer: "Why?" RedOne: "I think she was afraid that the critics would mock her for working with Gaga's producer." All of the Gaga songs RedOne helped create: Imagine the bops they could've created together
  8. Happy bday, Lady Gaga! (Even though you're delaying Chromatica ) Today is her 34th bday. Figured it'd be cute to post what your absolute favorite Gaga song is. I'll go first.
  9. Hey fam, figured we could connect tonight and watch the Coronavirus concert. Here is some info below about it via People. Ellen DeGeneres, Lady Gaga, Ryan Seacrest, Masked Singer‘s Ken Jeong, Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are set to take part in the Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America concert hosted by Elton John on Sunday evening. They join the previously announced group of stars including Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Camila Cabello, Mariah Carey, Dave Grohl, H.E.R, Tim McGraw and Sam Smith. Celebrities will all be performing and sending messages from their respective homes while practicing social distancing. In addition, Demi Lovato and Lizzo as well as Ciara and Russell Wilson are scheduled to pay tribute to healthcare professionals and local heroes who are working to fight the spread of the virus. The one-hour commercial-free special, which aims to “help fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to celebrate the resilience and strength of the nation during this pandemic,” will encourage viewers to support the charitable organizations Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation. Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on FOX and will be streamed on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and the iHeartRadio app. Anyone interested in joining me and commenting as it happens? Lady Gaga: Billie Eilish: Mariah Carey - "Always Be My Baby" Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes:
  10. Perez Hilton dragged Gaga for not helping her father at this desperate time. Gaga's dad posted a Tweet asking for people to donate to a GoFundMe - the proceeds would go towards his employees at his restaurant in NYC named Joanne. The Tweet is deleted, but it said: "I'm doing the best I can but we had to close Joanne for the month. Our staff needs some help financial. Any help for our employees will be appreciated." Perez posted this: But at the same time drags Gaga's dad for being so rich. How he got so poor that he can't afford the rent and now is begging help from twitter to get money. To pay his employees. Thoughts?
  11. Lady Gaga's new album Chromatica was scheduled to drop April 10 (that is, if it doesn't leak weeks ahead of schedule like Dua Lipa's did). However, she just confirmed now is not the time for the album to debut. Gaga wrote fans a note explaining. "I've made the incredibly tough decision to post the release Chromatica," she said. I will announce a new 2020 release date soon." Read the full message below: Thoughts? ______________________________________________ Hi! I changed the thread title. I just corrected the album title from 'Chromotica' to 'Chromatica'. Thanks for the tip @PokemonSpears TEEHEE ❤ Roxxy 💋
  12. Reviews for Dua Lipa's new album Future Nostalgia are beginning to pour in. It's getting great reaction! One reviewer from the Irish Times had this to say, and it really stuck out: Do you agree? I personally don't. I think Gaga has her own vision of what she wants and doesn't want what other pop girls have/are releasing. If she wanted to... she would. Thoughts?
  13. Music not the bling. Lady Gaga's new single, "Stupid Love," debuted at #5 on the Hot 100, however it slipped to #26 in its second week. However, it's not all bad. It blasted to #1 on the Hot Dance / Electronic chart. I think stan culture puts a lot of emphasis on charting, and how that equates to relevancy. I don't see it that way. A lot of people didn't instantly connect with "Stupid Love." I personally loved it upon first listen. What do you guys think? Is the chart drop a reflection on the song itself? Are you worried for Chromatica? Or does chart placement even matter for someone as gargantuan as Lady Gaga?
  14. A snippet of a new song titled "Babylon," from Lady Gaga's forthcoming album Chromatica, hit the Internet ahead of schedule. She chants the word "Babylon" in it and sings about battling for your life. Very '80s-sounding. Allegedly Obviously I can't link you to it nor can it be shared publicly here. She's been low-key teasing it for some time. Just figured I'd pass along the buzz. Can someone explain to me why she is having such bad luck with leaks this era?
  15. Lady Gaga faced a wave of backlash (including from me ) when she said she didn't remember ARTPOP. In her new interview with Paper, Gaga says she was just kidding. Here's an excerpt: Remember that iconic moment of Christina Aguilera saying Bionic was too ahead of its time for some people? What do you guys think? Was ARTPOP ahead of its time?!
  16. I know the world feels like it's imploding right now, so Lady Gaga in Paper magazine is welcome distraction. Her photoshoot for the issue is insane. She's an alien android chopped up into bits and pieces. Gaga also opens up about "Stupid Love" and Chromatica.
  17. I've got some exciting news about the Chromatica era and would love to know how you feel about them... "The Cure" and a solo version of "Shallow" with an electropop production are meant to be in the tracklist of a special edition of Chromatica (as bonus tracks). So don't be pissed off. "Frankensteined" and "Babylon" made the final cut. First one was meant to be released a while ago... A collab with "Ariana Grande" is indeed coming up and some hints have already been thrown. There is another female collab in the album in a song named "Sublime". Gaga talks about mental health in one of the album's most powerful tracks. It is not a ballad, I would classify it is a midtempo. Gaga might be recording a new music video in eastern Europe soon... That's all for now.
  18. Ok, which one of you made this. @Aizmov gave me a heads up about this sick COVID-19 playlist: "music to quarantine to." It was created by 122059603 on Spotify. It features songs that low-key fit the pandemic theme, but with a gay pop twist. It's Exhale meets the Apocalypse. Themes include isolation, feeling under the weather, hygiene and other icky virally motifs. The playlist features: Britney Spears' 'Toxic" & "Breathe On Me" Mariah Carey's "Caution" Hilary Duff's "Come Clean" Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty" Madonna's "Survival" and "Fever" Blondie's "Rapture" Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die" Ariana Grande's "Be Alright" and other fitting songs viewed through the lens of this ongoing nightmare. Click the link to play: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6vk5cPaVvU0mse7JB9ESzk?si=SAHwn36DTW-FJhIQp-ro1w Are there any songs missing that you can think of? Will you be streaming it alone in your room this month?
  19. Lady Gaga is asking people to practice kindness during a scary time in history. The World Health Organization says there's a pandemic. Entire countries are shutting down to avoid further spreading COVID-19. Not that there's ever a good time, but now more than ever... be kind to one another. Also, "Stupid Love."
  20. Lady Gaga earns her 16th top 10 single with "Stupid Love." The Bloodpop & Max Martin-produced banger debuted at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. A very respectable chart placement! There was a lot of firepower going into the track's debut. I wonder if it'll continue to climb after its first week, or if it'll trickle down the Hot 100 as we inch towards summer? I think the song leaking a month ahead of schedule definitely played a factor in it not blasting to #1. there was real potential to top the charts, but the element of surprise was foiled. Some details from Billboard: Some stats via Popheads The top 10 is as follows: Roddy Ricch – "The Box" (=) Future – "Life Is Good" ft. Drake (=) Dua Lipa – "Don't Start Now" (+2) Post Malone – "Circles" (-1) Lady Gaga – "Stupid Love" (NEW) Arizona Zervas – "ROXANNE" (=) The Weeknd – "Blinding Lights" (+1) Tones and I – "Dance Monkey" (-1) Maroon 5 – "Memories" (=) Justin Bieber – "Intentions" ft. Quavo (+1) "Stupid Love" is Lady Gaga's 16th top 10 single. Lady Gaga and only four other artists have unique top 10 hits in the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s decades. (via @chartdata on Twitter) "The Box" and "Life Is Good" have spent eight weeks at #1 and #2 unchanged, respectively, marking only the seventh pair of songs to keep their positioning like so for at least eight weeks. What do you guys think of Stupid Love opening up at #5?
  21. This album is going to be EPIC! Lady Gaga's new album Chromatica is rumored to feature Ariana Grande and Blackpink. One thing's for sure: Ryan Tedder, an amazing songwriter and producer, will be featured on the record. It's unclear in what capacity at the moment - whether he has vocals or songwriting credits. I'm assuming the latter and that there is no feature with him singing. Ryan had this to say about it: “I’ve heard a few tunes and I was floored. It’s the coolest **** that’s going to drop in 2020. Trust me, it’s taking everything in me to not blurt it out because the song I was lucky enough to be apart of is a true unicorn song. It’s a bucket list for me and when it comes out, you’ll understand why. BloodPop is very forward-thinking and progressive. I’m super stoked. [Gaga] took her time and she’s killing it. I think she’s going to give a lot of people what they want.” Are you guys here for this, or do you think it'll be basic?
  22. The taste jumped out! What do you think of Gaga's playlist? https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/women-of-choice/pl.34aaa41a168040ab8d2e4140899e57a9
  23. I live in Upstate New York, and during the BTW, ARTPOP, and Joanne tours my family could never find the time/money to go both to NYC/Boston/Toronto and do a concert too BUT NOW WE CAN!!!! I'm going to Toronto on August 9! If anyone else is planning on going to this date HMU! I'm so excited!
  24. Her ARTPOP could mean anything. I'm not sure how long these have existed on the Internet, but a Gaga stan account on Twitter Tweeted about it today and it's getting some traction. The artist, a man named Gianfranco Abela, published a post about the artwork he made. Here's what he had to say: The art is a lot to absorb. The popcorn is an obvious reference to pop (music) There are also stars (cause she is a star) She's sitting on top of a hot dog (perhaps a reference to NYC) She's getting, um, friendly with a cob of corn Patriotic nods She's disrobed It's understandable why Gaga decided to pass and employ Jeff Koons. Abela's work is cool, but imo not album cover worthy. In that aspect it's a mess. Can you imagine the backlash if she rolled with this? Thoughts?
