  1. The snippet of the song sounds so fresh and new and more related to 2017 releases like Bad Liar by Selena, Nervous by Shawn and more. Moreover, the comeback of the Backstreet Boys was in 2019 so it's most likely a song recorded for the B10 Sessions. What do you think? It's a 2017-18 song? Leave your comments!
  2. On November 1, 2001, Britney Spears' Dream Within a Dream Tour kicked off at the Nationwide Arena in Ohio. It was launched to support her third studio album Britney and it lasted until July 2002, after 69 shows across the United States, Canada, Japan and Mexico. It was promoted by Concerts West, marking the first time a tour of hers was not promoted by Clear Channel Entertainment. It was directed and choreographed by Wade Robson, with Steve Cohen and Rob Brenner designing the stage. The setlist was composed by songs from her first three records, mainly from Britney. Oops!... I Did It Again (You Drive Me) Crazy Overprotected Born to Make You Happy Lucky Sometimes Boys Stronger I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman I Love Rock 'n' Roll What It's Like to Be Me Lonely Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know Anticipating I'm a Slave 4 U ...Baby One More Time Some unreleased songs were also performed at selected dates: Mystic Man, Weakness, You Were My Home and My Love Was Always There. Some of the October dates had to be pushed back to December due to Britney having the flu, and the last show of the tour at Foro Sol in Mexico, had to be cancelled mid-show because of a thunderstorm that was occurring. The November 18th show at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, was broadcasted by HBO and later released as a DVD titled Britney: Live from Las Vegas in January 2002. A book and DVD chronicling her stay in Mexico was also released in February 2002, titled Stages: Three Days in Mexico. With more than 1 million in attendance, the tour grossed a total of $56.8 million which would be equivalent to $83.4 million in 2020. Related:
  3. Everyone and their mother dropped new material! Don't let the title of that song fool you. I only included it because Britney And this came out of nowhere and I haven't listened to it yet but the fact it is there, I had to include t.A.t.U
  4. Hey all, fairly new to posting on here but have been lurking for years. I just wondered if anyone else made any kind of art or display with The Singles Collection Box Set? I laid out the singles in chronological order and framed them in a huge industrial style metal frame on a black backing and it sits on my dresser. It's not perfect in terms of chronology, but I really wanted the lead singles to run down the left hand side and for the while thing to be balanced. Let me know what you think!
  5. The top five greatest hits by solo acts, Before playlists, artists and labels would package a best of their biggest artists. Sometimes the greatest Hits have clever titles. Like the best selling compilation by a solo act, Female in the US The immaculate collection by Madonna. Or in some cases like TLC Now and forever. One greatest hits act I will be excluding from this list is the original 1998 Mariah Carey #1's album. She opened the album with a letter saying this was out of her hands, and this isn't a greatest hits, it's too soon. Just a thank you to the fans, when the greatest Hits comes I'll include songs that didn't go #1 that are better than some that did Underneath the stars, Breakdown, the roof. Mariah thanked the fans, but also shaded the concept behind the album. My opinion for the best Britney Spears greatest Hits collection The 58 track (29 CDs in the rare and hard to get cool box set which housed a b side or a cool Remix) that celebrated her first decade in the music industry. While the 2004 set Greatest hits: My prerogative was praised, many felt it was way too soon for Britney to actually have a Hits collection, saying it speaks of her short brief imperial phase. But 2009's Box set was praised and achieved universal acclaim, the only Britney album to achieve this. Saying as a singles act, it doesn't get better than Britney Spears. This set goes hand to hand with the just released Madonna's celebration, and is a great reminder, that just like Madonna and Michael Jackson was the top pop stars of their era. Britney Spears proves this box set start as a teen pop 🌟 brilliantly across 29 CD singles goes from pop star to established club act. It's perhaps an indicator when Britney goes out of favor for radio stations and album sales, the princess of pop will join the ranks of Madonna and Kylie Minogue as relevant in the dance floor forever, who needs a billboard hot 100 #1 hit when you have 15 #1 dance hits. For the males there is only two men I Stan both I was raised on in my household Prince the Hits. This release was right before the final Official album to bear his name under the moniker Prince 1958-1993, but this release he allowed to happen, but refused to promote given the battle he was taking on the music industry. While Taylor Swift got praised. Prince did it to, was ridiculed and made fun of. This is the only commercial he authorized for his first greatest hits set. Kylie Minogue step back in time deluxe 3 CD set Originally a 2 CD set, many fans felt jipped on kiss me once exclusion. Kylie obliged and released the expanded reissue of her Gold certified #1 Album. 10 more hits, plus a 40 minute megamix. TLC now and forever:The Hits represents the best American girl group compilation Like T Boz said, we're the only girl group to have funk, soul, rap. It wasn't done before, and never happened since them. https://youtu.be/NOOhqDpL5-k Michael Jackson History, past present and Future book 1.. Is perhaps the ultimate best of in make pop stars, 15 of his biggest Hits on one disc, the other is a complete studio album. Featuring Scream the only time Michael and Janet collaborated, plus it house's the very first single to debut at #1 on the Billboard hot 100 (which happened slot in the fall of 1995, but until the streaming era, it was way difficult to achieve that feat, it's easier now. Not so much back then) It's also to date his most controversial and personal album to date. Reason why it's controversial Michael was accused of anti seminite lyrics in they don't care about us, by the Jewish community. For the following lyrics. "Skinhead, dead head, everybody gone bad . Jew me, sue me, kick me, kik'e me Don't you black or white me." Let's just say Sony Music was extremely pissed that they had to pay an additional 2,000,000 for Michael to reedit the song without the offending lyrics. Hint the special effects. It's only the original print that contains the unedited version. Celebration is the ultimate greatest Hits set by Madonna.
  6. Another post I was just reading asked a great question... whether or not 'Chromatica' would age badly? It REALLY got me thinking. A lot of artists have the gift of talent, and release tons of incredible albums throughout their careers, but I'm starting to wonder... Do popstars (specifically) ever release more than 2-3 that become iconic? I mean the reality is fanbases will state every album is iconic, but I'm looking at the fact that the general public eventually loses interest. It doesn't mean albums stop being good, or new albums released aren't good as well, but I feel most artists are lucky to have 2-3 solid albums, before ultimately it's 'Greatest Hits' style nostalgia only from that artist.... Look at Janet Jackson.... 'Control', 'Rhythm Nation', 'Janet' and 'Velvet Rope' were all iconic... yet Janet's released 4 albums since the latter, and none have had the impact. Madonna had 'Like a Prayer' and 'Like a Virigin in the 80's, 'Ray of Light' in the 90's, 'Confessions on a Dance Floor' in the 00's that gave her a resurgence, but the other albums all just sort of fade into each other? You could argue the same for Britney now, and Christina Aguilera after 'Stripped' and 'Back to Basics', Lady Gaga after 'The Fame' and 'Born this Way'... Katy Perry after 'Teenage Dream' and 'Prism'.... thoughts?

  11. What’s up, Exhalers! I was trying to compile lyric lines that truly touch me and make something creative to hang in my bedroom wall. Then I thought it’d be nice if we shared those lines that make us feel things, be it deep, funny, ironic... you name it Here are some I love: “But we’re the greatest, they’ll hang us in the Louvre, down the back, but who cares, still the Louvre” (Lorde, The Louvre) ”Love is a ruthless game, unless you play it good and right” (Taylor Swift, State of Grace) ”Maybe you’re not even human, ‘cause only an angel could be so unusual” (The Legendary Ms. Britney Spears, Unusual You) ”And when the hardest part is over, we’ll be here, and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears” (Brandon Flowers, Crossfire) ”Let’s go see The Killers and make out in the bleachers” (Lady Gaga, Boys Boys Boys) I have so many more. Which are yours?

  14. So, I was just listening to Britney's first self-titled album (the beautiful gem that it is) and when I got to "Bombastic Love" a connection was made in my mind. I feel like Britney's vocal delivery in this song is what Myah Maire tried to imitate while recording for Brit. I can really hear the inspiration on some of the Britney Jean tracks especially "Til It's Gone". Just a thought but what do y'all think, do you hear the specific "Bombastic Love" inspiration too or is it just me?
  15. So the 2003 VMAS will always be overshadowed by "the Kiss", But Generation Z and mid 90s Millennials have said what we need to admit, You have two killer entertainers In Madonna and Britney in her prime, Plus xtina also at the height of her career all we got was a high school talent show at best, If it wasn't for the infamous kiss, it would have been trashed as we have seen better performances from them on the same award show. Madonna delivered in 1989 with Express yourself and 90 with Vogue even her 1998 Ray of light performance was much better than this, same with her 2005 EMAS hung up. Same with Britney, Xtina delivered a better performance with fighter on the sane award show. But overall it's very lackluster we over hyped it to death, it has aged very horribly in the last 17 years. Truth hurts, sometimes
  16. Of course, I think Britney's restrictions also include where to spend her holidays. she always said she loved Hawaii, but I think if she were free she would also opt for other destinations. What do you think about it?
