  1. This is not a drill! Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa are touring in some capacity together. It's titled the Prisoner Tour (because we've all been prisoners at home this year). Dua revealed the full poster on her Instagram stories. It's unclear what this looks like considering the pandemic is still in full-swing. Perhaps a virtual tour? They also have a song together titled "Prisoner" on Miley's forthcoming album Plastic Hearts. Stay tuned for more info... Related:
  2. The grandiose production and/or controversial lyrical content are not the only ways to make a certain song memorable. Sometimes, it takes meticulous listening to noticed the slightest and simplest yet smart decision in a song, showing the artistic value and direction of the artist and producer. Here are my examples: Tsunami (Katy Perry) After the first chorus, and the start of the second verse (01:20), you will hear heavy synth-drops that I found so addictive, considering the song has low-esteem dynamics. It's like a some sort of a build up. Don't Start Now (Dua Lipa) The opening line, "If you don't wanna see me." completely contradicts the rest of lyrics. Simple but very clever songwriting. Sweet Melody (Little Mix) Notice the pause between the "real – love". If you will count the number of syllables of the first and second lines in the chorus, sync with the same tempo, the second one would turn out off-tempo. But hearing the "love" pronounced like an extension or transition word for the next line really blended well, and is indeed a very wise move.
  3. Update: The music video is out! Earlier: The song will be released on October 30, Friday with Dua sharing the link to pre-save the track now. Earlier this month, Dua filmed the video for this brand new single when she was falsely claimed by a tabloid to have breached the Government COVID-19 guidelines. She also released a brand new remix of Levitating with DaBaby at the beginning of this month, and it's climbing up the charts, so it's interesting to see her release another single so soon at the end of the month. Either way, she's clearly unstoppable.
  4. Future nostalgia deluxe dropped today on Apple Music, and let's say it's disappointed. They just added The Da Baby remix of Levitating and The new track Fever. I feel gutted. Someone apologize to GOD, so more music including that Normani can get released. @Invitation @Blackout2006 @Roxxy @Jordan Miller I'm disappointed in the re release for digital platforms
  5. Dua Lipa is performing a livestream concert titled Studio 2054 on Black Friday, November 27th. Here's some press release jargon: Shot live in a massive warehouse location “Studio 2054” will be a celebration of the unconventional and unique and will see Dua move through custom built sets; surreal tv shows, roller discos, ecstatic raves, trashy rocker hang outs, voguing ballrooms and diva style dressing rooms. Accompanied by a cast of musicians, dancers, skaters, aerialists and acrobats, Dua will be joined by a host of surprise superstar guests to deliver a euphoric blast of happiness and good times. Featuring tracks from “Future Nostalgia”, “Club Future Nostalgia” and her debut album, “Studio 2054” is a kaleidoscope of the past, present and future; real time and the imagination, adrenalin and excitement - all merged to create a whole new way to enjoy a performance. Tickets are available Friday, October 30th. Tickets range from $10-20. Stream #1 – UK & Europe // 20.30pm London / 21.30pm Paris / 22.30 pm Moscow Stream #2 – South America // 19.00pm Lima/ 20.00pm Manaus / 21.00pm Rio & Buenos Aires Stream #3 – Central & North America // 18.00pm LA / 20.00pm MX / 21.00pm New York Stream #4 – Asia Pacific // 16.00pm Bangkok & Jakarta / 17.00pm Manila / 18.00pm Seoul /20.00pm Sydney / 22.00pm Auckland. Exhale, are YOU tuning in?
  6. Dua Lipa and Sir Elton John, have a nice chat. While praising the Blessed Madonna remix of Levitating. I'm sure it's a mistake, But he begins to Call Madonna, Lady Gaga.. My reaction to this big mishap. Is in this Golden girls clip.
  7. Besides Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton John is perhaps the other Biggest pop diva from Australia (though she did start out country before her foray into pop in the 80s, thx to Grease). In an agree to disagree segment, Andy asked if Olivia's 1980 #1 hit (the second single ever to top the Hot 100 for 10 straight weeks) was the better song to be titled "Physical" against Dua Lipa's own single of the same name. Olivia obviously agreed as it's one of her best known and beloved songs and enjoyed a resurgence in popularity thx to a duet with Coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) on one of her few times she was given a musical performance (the other that's a stand out is Vogue) Wayans initially disagreed, but as we see he quickly changed his mind. The video for Olivia's Physical is what I describe gay soft adult lite. At the time, MTV asked her to censor it. Still to this day, I think back to a four year old me watching that video in 1988 - that had to be an early sign that I was really different as I found the video hot. I'll share it. Now I get why the video was controversial for it's time, the ending alluded that the men were gay and wanted to hook up with the one they were holding hands with.
  8. 13 Hours ago, Queen Of The 2020 Disco Revival AKA Dua Pepe dropped a new post of her simply saying "Coming Soon" with a image of Dua holding her phone showing off the retro phone cover. Take a look! What do you think she is teasing? A new single/Music Video? Her deluxe album coming out November 6th? let me know Related:
  9. A lot has changed since this post was first created back in March. Basically, the entire world is different now. We've also experienced so much Future Nostalgia Well, it appears Dua is still planning on releasing a deluxe version of it. According to a French website, it's out November 6th. Below is the tracklist (which looks near-identical to the original minus the bonus track). It's worth mentioning that Dua and Miley were on set together recently, so it could be for their anticipated collaboration together - it might be the bonus track listed below. 01. Future nostalgia - Lipa Dua 02. Don't start now - Lipa Dua 03. Cool - Lipa Dua 04. Physical - Lipa Dua 05. Levitating - Lipa Dua 06. Pretty please - Lipa Dua 07. Hallucinate - Lipa Dua 08. Love again - Lipa Dua 09. Break my heart - Lipa Dua 10. Good in bed - Lipa Dua 11. Boys will be boys - Lipa Dua 12. Bonus track exclusif français - Lipa Dua Dua said previously: "I've been holding back some songs. Trying to figure it out... I've got some songs that I've been holding back that I'm really excited for everyone to hear." She's also recorded collaborations with Normani and Miley Cyrus, though those probably won't make the Deluxe cut. You ready for more Future Slayalgia?! Related:
  10. Dua Lipa reportedly submitted Future Nostalgia song "Hallucinate" to the GRAMMYs for "Best Dance Recording." A Recording Academy member confirmed the news. She also revealed that her team submitted FN for Best Engineered Album and producers for Producer of the Year. The way it should have been "Levitating" instead
  11. Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa were spotted filming something on-set today. Exhale, let's speculate shall we Related:
  12. Dua Lipa released Future Nostalgia remix album titled Club Future Nostalgia. Blessed Madonna produced it. Gwen Stefani guest features on the remix of "Physical," which is getting remixed by Mark Ronson. The Levitating remix features Madonna and Missy Elliott. Stevie Nicks is also featured. During her recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dua said “we’re doing an animation for every single song on the record” Yasssssss it’s #DUASZN ladies and gents. Are you excited?! Listen below. Thoughts, Exhale?! *The album debuted at 28 on the Billboard 200 I was hoping these would count towards the first albums sales Watch the visual album below! Related:
  13. Dua Lipa's releasing a remix of "Levitating" featuring rapper DaBaby. It'll be good for streaming figures, but I'm low-key tired of Future Nostalgia remixes Thoughts, Exhale?
  14. Dua Lipa has her first official #1 Billboard album. Club Future Nostalgia gave both Dua Lipa and The Blessed Madonna their first #1 album. It topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. It also houses a top ten dance song as "Levitating" (The Blessed Madonna remix) is currently #6 on the top electronic songs. Billboard said if clubs were open, it would be #1 on the dance floor songs chart, becoming Dua Lipa's first #1 dance club hit. With of course all credit going to the ultimate dance floor artist herself, Madonna, as it would be her record extending 51st #1. Still to this day Madonna, is the first act to amass 50 #1's. An industry joke is that Billboard should retitle the dance club chart, as The Madonna top 50. I mean, if the Hot 100 is seen as Mariah Carey territory, the dance club chart is Madonna's territory. Britney got her first #1 dance hit with "Me Against The Music." So did Nicki Minaj and a few others that wouldn't top the club charts. Congrats, Dua!
  15. Dua Lipa released one of the best records of the year with Future Nostalgia. Not only was it an immaculate and cohesive body of work, but Dua pushed her own artistic boundaries. The growth from her debut to sophomore album is obvious, and greatly appreciated. Dua hopes she can hold that magic in a bottle for decades to come like her idol, the queen of pop, Madonna. “I feel like Madonna peaked at 40 or 45 and made the best pop album known, and she continues to kill it," Lipa tells The Sun. “Women, we can do it for as long as we want to. And then at some point I’ll retire with a couple of dogs and take up smoking again.” She adds: “The success I’ve had is more than I ever imagined was possible. To be really honest, I never thought I would get this far." “Not because I didn’t think I could, but because I didn’t know something like this was possible." “It can be frustrating because you have to play the long game, you have to spend the hours in the studio and write." “You have to try to beat your personal best and express yourself, because no matter how much you think you know, you are always coming up with better ways to explain yourself.” Do you think Dua has what it takes to remain relevant for years to come? Will she be ~the next Madonna~? Sound off.

  18. Update: BLACKPINK won Song of the Summer at the VMAs. Dua Lipa and Harry Styles are somewhere like Earlier: "As we reported earlier, superstars Harry Styles and Dua Lipa both declined to perform on the VMAs, but their decisions were made before nominations were finalized." Making matters worse, a timely performance of "WAP" by Cardi B with Megan Thee Stallion was on the table but couldn't get finalized. MTV will announce more performers this week, which could include Taylor Swift (a now-deleted New York Post article reported Swift as part of the bubble). Speaking of Dua and Harry... the VMAs added a last-minute category Song of The Summer: BLACKPINK - How You Like That Cardi B f/ Megan Thee Stallion - WAP DaBaby f/ Roddy Ricch - Rockstar DJ Khaled f/ Drake - Popstar Doja Cat - Say So Dua Lipa - Break My Heart Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar Jack Harlow - What's Poppin Lil Baby f/ 42 Drugg Megan Thee Stallion f/ Beyoncé - Savage Miley Cyrus - Midnight Sky Pop Smoke f/ 50 Cent and Roddy Ricch - The Woo SAINt JHN - Roses Saweetie - Tap In Taylor Swift - cardigan The Weeknd - Blinding Lights Related:
  19. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/music/story/2020-08-27/dua-lipa-remixes-club-future-nostalgia-madonna%3f_amp=true The Los Angeles times in their review of Dua Lipa's Club future nostalgia praises Dua but also reenforces the credit is all owed to Madonna. Especially dubbing the Remix album her very own Immaculate collection. The 1990 Madonna best of is known for all the songs being slightly remixed or reimagined by Shep Pettibone and comparing Love is religion, and the other new songs to justify my love and rescue me. Saying just the hits itself justified the set of both Albums but adding new songs even Madonna's own remix Album begins with a new song "Spotlight" remixed just for the appropriately titled "You can dance". So basically Dua Lipa according to LA times is The Madonna of generation Z, where lady Gaga was the millennials madonna.
  20. Everyone and their mother dropped new material! Don't let the title of that song fool you. I only included it because Britney And this came out of nowhere and I haven't listened to it yet but the fact it is there, I had to include t.A.t.U
  21. Fly away with Dua Lipa and me tonight. Download here: https://mega.nz/folder/5MpFWa6D#GagJ6BE-dc6gUSOOK6q8pw Related:
  22. Blessed Madonna, who produced Dua Lipa's "Levitating" remix with Madonna and Missy Elliot, says some disgruntled fans were so angry that she received death threats. “It’s really interesting when you get a death threat from someone who’s got Taylor Swift as their avatar on Twitter,” she tells the Guardian. “It’s like, StreamFolklore1969 [says]: ‘Go ******* kill yourself.’ Even when you know it’s not real, getting that death threat never feels nice.” It nearly pushed her to the edge. “I had to get into therapy because I was really losing it,” she continued. “Even when you get to do what you want to do for a living, you still have to be a person.” There's been a lot of discussion about stan culture on BH lately. How do we feel about this, Exhale? I feel bad for her. Thousands of stans attacking you all at once sucks. I believe she produced Dua's entire remix album, so I'm worried for her. Related:
  23. Dua Lipa is releasing a solo version of "Levitating." She has plans to film a music video, and wants fans to send in content for it. I wonder if she would still release a solo version if the remix had performed better? Some stans were way too intense about it. You going to submit something? Related:
  24. Dua Lipa just released a sprawling remix of "Levitating" featuring Madonna and Missy Elliott. I’m so excited that Levitating is getting the attention it deserves The beat is sooo sick and Madonna's and Missy's contributions are impeccable. The video is out soon. This is gonna break records, mark my words Related:
