  1. I haven't seen a thread on this, and I'm not one to start threads/discussions, but this has been on my mind. So, for me at least, it feels like Britney has had a very hit-or-miss history with features or collabs, especially with rappers. What are your thoughts & what have been your favorite and/or least favorite features & collabs she's had? & Who would you like to see her collab with for B10 (if there is one)? Well, for me, it's hard to pick a favorite because they've all been decent to meh, including MATM, but I guess I'll pick that because Madonna or not, it's a bop. I'm not picking a favorite rapper because I don't love any of them and they've been the worst tracks for almost every album, in my opinion. My least favorite is T.I. because that collab was so random & I don't get why they didn't just pick Iggy if she was gonna work with her anyway 2 years later. As far as who I'd like to see her collab with someday... well, there's a difference between who I want and who "they" will put her with who's hot at the moment (*cough* Pretty Girls), but I would love her & Meghan as long as it's a Blackout-ish type raunchy track and Britney is into it and doesn't just disappear when Meg comes on. That's my biggest issue with collabs, you can tell it was all done separately. It could give us a "Kimme More" moment, except it's an actual collab, not a remix, and is promoted. Although I like her, Doja Cat I feel like would be just as forced as Iggy. Cardi would be too predictable, and they technically have already done a Nicki collab with TTWE. Maybe Ashnikko? I mean, she can write AND rap/sing, so... & I don't think she'd mesh well with ANY of the male rappers. The thought of her & the Migos or DaBaby gives me Ying Yang Twins flashbacks. I don't hate Got That Boom Boom, but I couldn't give her a pass with stuff like that now. IMO she's never had good chemistry with any of the rappers. The best chemistry she could've had one with is the one where her knee was shattered. As far as singers, I wouldn't be shocked if we saw her & Ariana, as much of a mess that would be. Ari's always the go-to for these "big female" collabs. Anyway, thoughts?
  2. Hi guys, I am trying to build an 'ultimate britney songlist' and i can't figure out if these demos are real or fake/fanmade : ...Baby On More Time (Demo) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8DuQ7y_ZXQ - real or made with stems? Chaotic (Demo) Do Somethin’ (Demo/Unmastered) (I Got That) Boom Boom (Pre-Release Version) Intimidated (Version #2) Luv The Hurt Away (Solo Demo) Mmm Papi (Demo) My Prerogative (Tapemasters Inc Rip) Ooh La La (Britney's Demo) Over To You Now (Alternate Version) Phonography (Demo) Scary (Demo) SMS (Bangerz) (Rough Demo) [Version 2] Sometimes (Early Mix) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9Pl5wI9qmc different from demo/alternative version) Sweet Kisses - wasn't it proven fake? Tom’s Diner (Demo) - is it a real demo or a main vocals mix? Touch of My Hand (Demo) - reversed intro version is fanmade, right? Toxic (Demo) [Version 1] - real or made with stems? Toxic (Demo) [Version 2] Trouble For Me (Demo) - I remember reading that this one was fake, but I'm unsure When I Found You (Demo) - same as above Work ***** (Demo) - real or made with stems? Could you please help me?
  3. Britney as a songwriter is not something the we talk about much, and much less the general public. But in fact, Britney is a very good songwriter, composer and lyricist. Obviously is a gained skill, but it gets even better after every album is released. She started with her debut album writing a B-Side song for the project, “I’m So Curious” back in 1998/1999. Because of this, I would like to shine a light to the singles and songs written by Britney Spears for her own recordings and albums (not for another artists). This is the list of songs written by Britney Spears (yes, I was bored): Album BS1: ‘…Baby One More Time’ (released in 1999). 1) “I’m So Curious” (B-Side song with the single “Sometimes”), 1999. Album BS2: ‘Oops!... I Did It Again’ (released in 2000). 2) “Dear Dairy”, 2000. Album BS3: Britney (released in 2001). 3) “Lonely”, 2001. 4) “Anticipating”, 2001. 5) “Cinderella”, 2001. 6) “Let Me Be”, 2001. 7) “That’s Where You Take Me”, 2001. 8) “Before The Goodbye” (track from the Deluxe Version of the album), 2001. 4. This song is just so beautiful, it should be on the album instead of "Brave New Girl" maybe. It even could have been a good single. Does anyone know why it didn't make it?
  5. Hello everyone , So in honor to the anniversary of Britney's performance at the NRJ music awards in Cannes, France, back in 2004, I thought why not creating a thread about the relation she had troughout her life with my country France. The thing is it has always been interesting to me that she came to my city, Paris, so many times that it became like a routine, something that kept happening, to have her coming visit us here and it was each time a rollercoaster of emotions. Since news are slow I thought it would be cool to go back through time and remember. Also I was inspired by the thread about the NRJ Music awards by @PokemonSpears and the one with @Jordan Miller remembering his past experiences in LA. So this is going to be a list of everything existing beween France//French culture and Britney. FEEL FREE, please, to add to the list your experiences or your photos, videos etc... Maybe you guys can do the same for your own city //country (like London etc...). Here we go : -Numer 1 : Britney is actually french , ok kind of, some of her ancesters are, among many other origins of course, but just so you know some of her ancestors came from a small town called la Tremplade (Charente region, France) and left in 1670 for South Carolina (current USA). I know it's a reach but oh well -2 : She first came to Paris in may 2000 and it went like : And she gave a showcase : So someone I personaly know was in charge of her promo that day and here what she told me she remembers :" Britney was very sweet and polite. Very young, she was sitting on the floor, her back against the wall, playing gameboy all day but when the camera was on she switched immediatily to being very professional. It was impressive." -3 : in January 2002 she came back, but this time in Cannes (South of France) for the NRJ music awards where she performed Slave 4U : She went on french tv and got emotional (she starts crying at 6:00) : -4 : In march 2002 she came back for Crossroads premiere in Paris at the Grand Rex Cinema theatre. OK so this is tough for me cuz I had tickets and let my sister go with her bestfriend instead !! So she looked beyond beautiful that night but unfortunatly the crowd went wild and people broke a window of that gorgeous theatre and her security freaked out. The rest is history she had to leave immediatly and people started booing her. It was a mess and a big scandal the next day. (The worst part for me was still that I was supposed to be there and that my sister was there !!) An interview for Belgian TV from that night : She also performed Overprotected at the opening of the new Disney Studio parc at EuroDisneyland Paris : 5 : in January 2004 she came back to Cannes for the NRJ Music award where she performed Toxic. Her look that night...well this next picture will say it all : 6 : It was announced that in her next music video Britney would play a super hero-like James Bond girl in Paris. I was so excited for this. But it ended up being a green screen. 8 : In may 2004 she came back to Paris and Lyon for her Onyx Hotel tour : My first time seeing her and I remember she was so beautiful ! I couldn't believe my eyes, her beauty ! She was with Kevin she went to the Eiffel tower, went to the Louvre (though they didn't get inside ) and had a walk at the Tuilerie garden. That night she shot that infamous clip from Chaotic where she says "aaaaffel tower" and talk about having *** with Kevin. 9 : In january 2005 Britney released her Do something music video in which she's driving a car that is covered with the infamous french brand Louis Vuitton logo. Because there were no authorization Vuitton won a lawsuit and the video was banned for all of Europe. The video you see now on youtube is digitally censored, everything is pink now. 10 : She came back to Paris in november 2008 and this one is special to my heart because I had a chance to see her (not on stage but in the street!) she was again beyond beautiful as she was leaving the luxurious hotel Plaza Athénée : then she perfomed Womanizer live on TV at Star Academy : ok this is embarrassing but we actually waited for her private jet at a private airport with like 20 other fans at like midnight (the police came etc.. ) it was snowing and we got cold, we didn't see her though but that's the kind of experience you never forget. 11 : In July 2009 she came back for 3 nights in a row for the Circus tour. This is also very special to my heart for many reasons. We were a group of friends and slept there, outside the arena, the 3 nights (we had to stole sheets from a hotel nearby and take our shower with the water from the sprinklers for the grass of the stadium in the midle of the night). Not even kidding. That was so much fun !!! She premiered her brunette look the first night. She went to the Eiffel tower with her kids and I think she had a diner at the Jules Verne restaurant at the Eiffel tower : Fun fact : she went to a tanning salon that day and the owner knew my best friend. When she went there she cleaned her eye make up and threw her cotton pad to the trashcan. The owner kept it and gave it to my best friend and he still owns it to this day. I know it's totally creepy, disgusting, and a mess but hey what can you do ? I'm so sorry for that one. I took a lot of pictures and awesome videos from those 3 nights, so here are some of my personal pics : 12 : Naming her album FEMME FATALE !! (french for femme : woman and fatale : deadly) 13 : She came back to Paris in october 2011 for the Femme Fatale tour. Ok that night was very weird for me I just came back few hours before from Fort Lauderdale, my nephew was born the same morning and I was going trough a tough breakup so..well I was not really feeling so into it but oh well : Here she is having a walk in the same street as the Presidential palace (Elysée) : 14 : In july 2013 Britney released a music video called "Oh La La" (can't get anymore french than that) where she's with her kids watching The smurfs in Paris (presicely at the Garnier Opera house). 15 : In her song Work ***** she sings "Party in France ?" 16 : She recorded a song in french "Coupure éléctrique" (a coupure is a cut like if you have a "coupure " in your hand it's a cut, a scar. In this case it means an electric cut = BLACKOUT) 17 : She came back to Paris in august 2018 for the Piece of me show and had lunch in the neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Près with her ex dancer Adrien. I quickly talked to him once but didn't dare mentioning Britney. The show was nice but something was weird, plus I was with my coworkers and we had too much wine before the show started so... 18 : She posted many videos on her instagram with vintage french music but also some hindie french music. She said that she was in love with Indila song called "dernière danse" : 19 : In 2020 her painting was sold in a french gallery for 10 000 euros : That's it for the moment, but I'm sure there's more to share. So Voilà for Frenchney
  6. On January 26, 2004, the premiere of Pepsi's Gladiator commercial took place in London. The ad was filmed at the Coliseum in Rome and featured Britney Spears, Beyoncé and Pink as gladiators who perform a new version of Queen's classic We Will Rock You. Enrique Iglesias played the role of the evil emperor, and Brian May and Roger Taylor from Queen also made cameo appearances. Brian May said about the commercial: "I will die happy, I think in the end, it will be a good piece of art. There is more money and more talent per second in an ad than in anything else. It was incredible to work with the three of them, and hear the song come to life in a new way. Freddie would definitely have enjoyed it". Britney said about this collaboration: "It's amazing to work with artists like Pink and Beyoncé. It's really, really cool. You want to pinch yourself. This was a thrill beyond belief." Several promo singles were released featuring the track from the commercial, plus some songs by the three divas and Enrique. The general one featured: We Will Rock You (Pepsi "Gladiators" Sound Track Remix) - Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Pink Trouble - Pink Me, Myself & I (Remix) (Grizz's Main Mix) - Beyoncé Me Against the Music (Remix) (Dragon Man Mix) - Britney Spears Addicted (Remix) - Enrique Iglesias Sky Away - Solange Everything You Want -JC Behind the Scenes And then there were the Britney Exclusive, Beyoncé Exclusive and Pink Exclusive promo CD's
  7. Or when do you think a comeback should happened? Back to Vegas or touring 2023? 2024? 2025?
  8. 10 years ago, Britney's then manager, Adam Leber, invited me to one of Britney's private tour rehearsals for the Femme Fatale Tour. I had one day to get to LA from Vegas, but obviously I dropped everything and booked it. In this video, I relive the experience by watching my old video I posted at the time. This was a SUPER fun video to make. I'm curious to know what you guys think. Of course, any engagement on the video itself would be greatly appreciated The more love my video gets (likes, subscribes etc) the more it's shown to new people. I want to share the goodness of BreatheHeavy with as many people as I can. Click below and watch it on YouTube, show it some love, then come back and drop me a line in the comments!
  9. Imagine rejecting this for Big Fat Bass Edit Wait I forgot about Feet On The Ground, this is so relevant even now Imagine if she released something with this vibe after the conservatorship is over ugh UGHH
  10. When nicki says told you it’d revive your career somebody lied I’m not talking poultry when i say this chickens fried ... you was hot when ? Rick i lake .... who is she talking about and do u think she slickly threw shade on Britney I’ve always wondered just wanna know what y’all think . like she could either be saying this chick is fried or sometines crack ******* is referred to as chicken
  11. Since BJ is the least favorite album on the fan base, I thought it would be cool to see what would you guys do if the album was ceased to exist and all the songs would be scattered on all of her other albums. This is how I would lay out, based on how the song would fit into the theme of each album. BOMT - Chilling With You (tough the lyrics about her drinking wine would have to change since she was under 21 back then) Oops Britney - Hold On Tight ITZ - Now That I Found You - Tik Tik Boom Blackout - Perfume - Till It’s Gone - Alien Circus - Passenger - Brightest Morning Star FF - It Should Be Easy - Work ***** Glory - Body Ache - Don’t Cry
  12. Happy Friday team! So, you guys are going to kill me for sharing this Remember the 'Glory' vinyl unwrapping video I uploaded recently? Well in it, I obviously took the packaging off and low-key scratched the cover. Jon Asher, the co-writer of "Mood Ring," who gave me it, saw that and surprised me with another Glory vinyl I figured I'd use the opportunity to talk about a few of my favorite songs off Glory. One in particular I think you guys will drag me for (along with this humble brag). Any engagement you can show on the actual video would be greatly appreciated! My Lady Gaga interview video was one of my best-performing videos to-date Thank you so much for your support. I am having a lot of fun ~being a YouTuber~. Check out the video above and comment your favorite Glory song in the comments on YouTube AND Exhale (you wanna go that extra mile for me). Related:
  13. Adam closed his insta account so I'm not able to check it. If someone follows him, please back this up cause since the Britney's Gram vs. LawyersForBritney situation we cant trust anyone right off the bet (specially on Twitter). Basically, he says he feels its time to start talking about things but it has to start from the very beginning. He met Britney through the lawyers who took care of her divorce from Kevin and they met irl 2 times, and then talked on the phone for a couple hours. He states that although he's not a doctor (nor had access to her medical reports) he saw that Britney could fully understand the situation she was in and was interested to be advised by him. He noticed she needed him in court to ask for the only thing that matters to her (I think he talks about the custody of her boys) and that she knew the conservatorship was smth inevitable but didnt want Jamie to be the conservator. He then says he'll talk more about it very soon. It seems he'll take advantage from the attention the documentary will bring to spill more details that may not make the cut. Lets keep our eyes open ladies and lads and hope for the best Related:
  14. i dont know if this has been mentioned here before. but remember that glory was originally going to be very different. i think it was her teams idea. anyway Britney was not happy with this and brought on karen kwak as EP. now this is where i think it happend. her team must have been unhappy that control had been taken away. so to get back at her. they under promoted it
  15. This is odd to me. Side note, I am VERY excited for this. But can you imagine if there is a bait and switch and they justify the conservatorship and this is all one big plan to get the public off their backs?
  16. We love to see it. Someone (aside from me) finally putting those pessimists in their place and seeing right through their consistently negative bull****.
  17. Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me. I was playing this music game with my family and got into a bit of a debate. My brother, early 20s, keeps insisting to me that Britney isn't on the same level as Michael Jackson career wise & legend wise due to the cship really ruining what status she had. Ive been a fan since she debuted so I have seen her phenomenon days but he didn't really see them and doesn't believe she could have ever been on MJ's playing field (like he brought up how many albums Thriller sold). There used to be lists of her achievements here but over time people have stopped posting about them. Can anyone give me good examples to prove it to him? I tried to google why she's the princess of pop, achievements only she has had but everything is muddled in the results now. Even though I lived through her prime I myself can't explain how huge she really was to people who didn't get to experience it. I just remember it was an amazing time to be a fan.
  18. The New York Times published a new article about their forthcoming documentary, Framing Britney Spears. It premieres on Friday, Feb. 5, at 10 p.m. on FX and streaming on Hulu. The documentary, “Framing Britney Spears,” features interviews with key insiders, including: a lifelong family friend who traveled alongside Spears for much of her career the marketing executive who originally created Spears’s image a lawyer currently working on the conservatorship and the lawyer Spears tried to hire in the early days of the conservatorship to challenge her father Below is a copy + paste of the article: The new film, on FX and Hulu, also explores the fervent fan base that is convinced Spears should be liberated from the conservatorship, and re-examines the media’s handling of one of the biggest pop stars of all time.
  19. Soooo I woke up this morning and found out that Femme Fatale is getting repressed on a splattered vinyl? 😱

  24. On January 23, 2000, the twelfth episode of the season 11 of The Simpsons was originally aired. It was titled "The Mansion Family" and it featured the guest appearance of Britney Spears as herself. The episode was written by John Swartzwelder and directed by Michael Polcino. "The Mansion Family" starts with the Springfield Pride Awards, which are being hosted by the cartoon version of Britney Spears and fictional character Kent Brockman. They present the award for Springfield's oldest citizen to Cornelius Chapman, who dies onstage from a heart attack after Britney Spears kisses him. The award then passes to Mr. Burns, who decides to get a checkup at the Mayo Clinic, leaving Homer in charge of his mansion. In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the show, NECA released a collection of figures based on some of the famous guest stars that have appeared throughout the series. A Britney Spears figure was released in the second batch of the collection. You can watch the full episode here.
