  1. A fan contest for the creation of the music video sounds like a very good 'promotion' for the song/single video...
  2. Another Britney song received the video treatment, and technically was released as a promotional single from the album 'Circus'. I am talking about "Kill The Lights", that have an animated music video. In relation to 'Circus', it's the last Britney LP to produce 5 music videos and 5 singles/songs that charted in the Billboard Hot 100 (with "Womanizer", "Circus", "Shattered Glass", "If U Seek Amy", and, "Radar".
  3. I am counting the singles that charted in the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, not on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart...
  4. "My Prerogative" charted in the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 (now Pop Songs Chart) at #22.
  5. Britney's singles that not charted in the Billboard Hot 100... From the list of official singles releases from our beloved Britney, a few of them have not charted in the Billboard Hot 100 and it’s ****ty that they didn’t. This is the infamous list: 1) “Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know” (the 4th single from the album ‘Oops… I Did It Again’) 2) “I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman” (the 2nd single from the album ‘Britney’ in the USA, 3rd single in other countries). 3) “Boys (The Co-Ed Remix) feat. Pharrell Williams from N.E.R.D” (the 4th single from the album ‘Britney’) 4) “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll” (the 4th European single from the album ‘Britney’) 5) “My Prerogative” (the 1st single from the album “Greatest Hits: My Prerogative”) 6) “Someday (I Will Understand), (the promotional single from ‘Britney & Kevin: Chaotic EP’) Other Britney’s songs/singles that not charted: · “Born To Make You Happy” (single only released internationally) · “And Then We Kissed (Junkie XL Remix)” (promotional single from the remix album 'B in the Mix: The Remixes') · “Tom’s Diner” – Giorgio Moroder feat. Britney Spears (unofficial single release) · “Scream & Shout (Remix)” - will.i.am ft. Britney Spears, Hit Boy, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Wayne & Diddy. · “Mood Ring (By Demand), (released in 2020 worldwide, originally appearing as a bonus track for the Japanese Standard edition of 'Glory') · “Anticipating” (released only in France as a single) · “My Only Wish (This Year)”, (appeared in the album 'Platinum Christmas') Why do you guys think that these singles didn’t chart?
  6. "Mood Ring (By Demand)" should be released as a Lyric Video at least... The others songs/singles I mentioned, I know they are old songs from Britney, but, "Outrageous" was an official single and the music video was scrapped due to her injury, but a Lyric Video is a good idea even in 2020, the same goes for "S&M Remix", that is Britney's 5th #1 song in the Billboard Hot 100 (2011). In relation to "And Then We Kiss (Junkie XL Remix)", this was technically an official single from the 'B in the Mix, The Remixes' album, so, a Lyric Video should be interesting. "My Only Wish (This Year)" is Britney's only famous Christmas song and every year it gains views and exposure. That's why a Lyric Video would be perfect for this song in 2020 too.
  7. Britney Spears: The Lyric Videos... Throughout her career, Britney has not used much the trend of releasing “Lyric Videos” to promote her official singles releases or even to promote other tracks of her long discography. Of course, in the beginning of her career in the late 90’s, they didn’t exist and currently, it’s more a promotion strategy of the recording labels of the artist, not the artist itself in most of the cases. After Britney changed from Jive/Zomba to RCA around 2012/13 is that this trend of releasing Official Lyric Videos in the official accounts of artist in YouTube, specifically in Vevo became popular. As we all know, RCA is not very good in the promotion department, at least when it comes to Britney and her 2 latest studio album releases. If we analyze Britney’s discography, she has only released 5 official lyric videos thru her YouTube official accounts/Vevo, and one additional is from other artist in a song she is featured. Official Lyric Videos by Britney Spears: Till the World Ends (Lyric Video). Vevo, 2011 (Jive). 663,242 views Criminal (Official Lyric Video). Vevo, 2011 (Jive). 14 million views “Criminal” Official Lyric Video. Britney Spears YouTube, 2011 (Jive). 10 million views Perfume (Official Lyric Video). Vevo, 2013 (RCA). 5 million views Ooh La La (From The Smurfs 2) (Official Lyric Video). Vevo, 2013 (RCA). 5 million views Giorgio Moroder – Tom’s Diner (Lyric Video) ft. Britney Spears. Vevo, 2015 (RCA, Warner). 2 million views In general, I consider that Britney should get on board with this and promote more her songs and singles releases. This will give her more views and streaming totals for her official releases. For example, now in 2020, if she releases a Mood Ring (Official Lyric Video), it will increase the streaming of the song and it might help it chart in Billboard. Because of all this craziness, I consider that Britney’s team should release the following Lyric Videos in her Vevo. 1) Mood Ring (By Demand) (Official Lyric Video) 2) S&M Remix (Official Lyric Video) 3) Outrageous (Official Lyric Video) 4) And Then We Kiss (Junkie XL Remix) (Official Lyric Video) 5) My Only Wish (This Year) (Official Lyric Video) What are your thoughts about all of this or your favorite Britney's Lyric Video?
  8. OMG!!! I think is my fault. Last weekend I decided to start buying in the US Itunes all the Britney featuring singles or collaborations, like for example: - “Scream & Shout”, Will.i.am feat. Britney Spears - “SMS (Bangerz)”, Miley Cyrus feat. Britney Spears - “Pretty Girls”, Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea - “Tom’s Diner”, Giorgio Moroder feat. Britney Spears - “S&M Remix”, Rihanna feat. Britney Spears - “Gimme More (“Kimme More" Remix)”, Britney Spears feat. Lil Kim - “Till the World Ends (The Femme Fatale Remix)”, Britney Spears feat. Nicki Minaj and Kesha I just realized that I need to buy: "Like a Virgin / Hollywood Medley", Madonna feat. Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliot. Cheers!
  9. Nelly Furtado sophomore album "Folklore" was a huge slump. I know she is a foreigner artist, and for those type of artist, it's more difficult to maintain the the hits at a mainstream level. The album is pretty good and she got back with her third album "Loose". But after that, she disappeared again. She was all over the place and with the Spanish album, people lost track of her.
