I watched the Britney doc. Obviously there is a lot to parce on a sociological level - I almost cried five times during that. There is a debate on whether the times in and on themselves kind of encased this behavior - It's kind of hard to go back into sap and cut into it - because it is sort of suspended in Amber, some of this stuff. But to see the sadness in this human being. I mean, I was on the edge of tears because if you understand what this business / industry / lifestyle does to a person - to go through this and come out the other side okay is to have infinite grace for those who struggle with it. I came out okay. I have feeling that part of that is because I am a man. I have a very strong feeling that part of that is because I am a man. And I have a very strong feeling that a lot of these things that happen to female performers is endemic to being female. Why do so many men emerge, "yes, I've learned my lesson. yes I got dinked in the head. but I'm back baby!"? I watched this with so much grace for someone who got much more maligned by the inhuman experiment of fame than I did. And I go, "why did I get through that? why did I find my way through that obstacle? what was afforded to me stylistically... the stylistic difference of being an "outlaw"". If you are a man, you're an "outlaw". If you're a woman, you're kind of crazy. And when I watched that through that lens, my heart just ached the whole time.

Ex Reporter/YouTuber Shallon Lester talks conservationship
sjadeupdate replied to FeedTheStans's topic in Britney Spears
Of course it would be hard for Britney to adjust to the World if she was free, when her rights has been stripped for 13 years. She wouldn't know how to process certain things, but that doesn't mean she can't learn and she should continue to be in this conservatorship for these reasons. Why would she continue to pay just because people would think it's easier to keep her under restrictions than to just slowly but surely help her insert herself back to society? It's not like she can't hire someone to help her. -
Should Billboard apologies to Britney too?
sjadeupdate replied to Sourab Patodi's topic in Britney Spears
"Blackout" was supposed to be #1 on the Billboard 200. Her competition was The Eagles, but most of the copies of their album were sold exclusively through Wallmart, but originally Billboard didn't count the copies sold through Wallmart cause they were so rules about selling your cd exclusively to only one same retailer. But Billboard changed that rule the week where both Britney and The Eagles were competiting to get the #1 spot, which prevented "Blackout" to get to #1 at the end and ended her strike of consecutive #1 albums. -
I spoke with Sam Lutfi about Britney today

Let's stop feeding this horrible guy, he doesn't have almost 10 restraining orders, in which some are from other people than Britney, for nothing. And the fact he's still obsessing over Britney is wrong in so many ways and some fans acting like he's our savior is really disturbing no matter if he's on our side or not.
