    I was literally 4 years old, but it was a number #1 hit in my country, so I heard it all the time and it got through to my little heart and it was that song that I spent years wondering what it could have been, but knew no words of it, than more than 10 years later I found it while listening to my favourite Britney bops (the og hits) and it blew my mind to hear it again and I was so suprised it was Britney

    But if we step outside of the US - I don't know if you considered this, but I will, because we are talking about an international superstar here - Taylor and Gaga combined are nowhere near Britney. Gaga's first 2 eras were really big in Europe too, but still nowhere near Brit, but I don't know about Taylor... She had a few hits here and there, but not a cultural impact and mass hysteria Britney had all over the world. Everyone knows her name and can list several songs and moments of her, everyone.     Yep, not just his fault, but he left the sinking ship immediately and left Janet with all the backlash. Janet was blacklisted, her career basically ended because of this performance, JT rolled with it, his popularity didn't decreased and he didn't demand justice for Janet. Okay, he apologized now, it's too little too late, but I think this topic should be dropped by now. Justin kissing two men I would like to see that. Not gonna happen ever, remember his face during the Britney Madonna kiss. I think he wouldn't become this desperate of a try-hard, but who knows
